00:02 email services in the entire world and
00:04 now you can use email for rapidweaver
00:06 with it let's see how easy it is
00:13 hey everybody so in this video we're
00:15 going to be reviewing how to use email
00:18 for rapidweaver to build out your
00:20 MailChimp campaigns it is super easy to
00:24 do so without further ado let's jump on
00:26 in so here we are inside rapidweaver
00:29 and this is the email that we built
00:31 inside the getting started with email
00:32 video so what we're going to do is I'm
00:35 going to drag out my inliner stack onto
00:37 the page and I'm simply going to preview
00:41 and get our inline HTML version of the
00:44 email now all I have to do is click this
00:47 copy to clipboard button and let's head
00:49 over to our mail service so here i've
00:52 logged into my MailChimp account and
00:54 let's go ahead and go into our campaigns
00:56 dashboard so what we're going to do now
00:59 is we're going to create a new campaign
01:01 let's go ahead I want to create an email
01:04 and let's give our campaign a name and
01:06 click begin now it's going to ask us
01:11 what do we want to send I want to send
01:12 this to my entire list click Next at the
01:15 bottom I'm going to go ahead and accept
01:19 the default settings here okay tweak
01:22 these to whatever you'd like go ahead
01:23 and click Next and here what we want to
01:27 choose is we want to choose code your
01:30 own at the very top at the end the very
01:32 last tab and then we're going to select
01:34 paste in code so we are now inside
01:40 MailChimp's HTML editor and what I'm
01:44 going to do is I'm going to paste in the
01:46 code that we got from Rapid River and
01:48 I'm going to click Save and what that
01:52 does is you'll see on the left hand side
01:54 MailChimp has a live preview of that
01:57 email okay now if we scroll to the
02:01 bottom here you'll notice that MailChimp
02:03 has added some things it's added an
02:05 unsubscribe link it's also added a
02:08 MailChimp image promotional link because
02:10 I have a MailChimp free account now if
02:13 you want you can actually add these
02:14 natively into your email for rapidweaver
02:18 email so that MailChimp doesn't add its
02:20 own so what you need to do here is go to
02:23 the Settings tab inside the code editor
02:26 and if you'll scroll down you'll notice
02:28 that MailChimp has an unsubscribe link
02:31 and monkey rewards macros that you have
02:34 to add to your email okay now everybody
02:38 has to have an unsubscribe link and I
02:40 believe it's if you have a free account
02:41 you have to have this rewards macro okay
02:44 makes perfect sense
02:46 so let's go ahead and add an unsubscribe
02:49 macro into email for rapid eavers so you
02:51 can see how that is done so what I'm
02:54 gonna do is I'm going to copy just the
02:56 macro it is the star pipe unsub pipe
03:00 star now I'm going to head I'm back into
03:04 Rapid River I'm going to scroll all the
03:05 way down to where we have this
03:07 unsubscribe link I'm going to go ahead
03:10 and edit the link for this and I'm going
03:14 to paste in the macro where the URL for
03:17 this link would be I'm going to simply
03:19 click set link now if we wanted to add
03:22 the rewards macro you could simply add
03:24 an HTML stack to the page and then paste
03:27 in that rewards macro into the HTML so
03:30 now we preview our email again and get
03:32 our new inline HTML I'm going to go
03:34 ahead and copy to clipboard I'm going to
03:37 paste that new HTML into MailChimp and
03:40 save and what you'll notice is that
03:44 MailChimp no longer inserted its own
03:47 footer it's used our footer because we
03:50 supplied the proper macros to follow the
03:54 guidelines for the MailChimp we have an
03:56 unsubscribe link and we added the
03:58 MailChimp rewards macro because I'm a
04:00 free account on MailChimp now once
04:03 you're satisfied with your email you
04:04 simply click Next and you continue on
04:07 with your mail campaign just as you
04:09 would any other email campaign using
04:11 MailChimp so I hope you found this video
