00:07 i wanted to introduce you guys to the
00:10 next
00:11 weaver-based site project file that i am
00:14 hopefully going to be releasing uh
00:16 sooner rather than later
00:18 it's still a work in progress but i just
00:20 want to give you all a sneak peek as to
00:23 what it looks like and what it does so
00:26 if you see any errors or anything
00:28 happens that's a little funky
00:30 i just know that it's still being
00:31 developed anyway it's
00:34 called field office and it is a
00:37 project management system
00:41 for you to manage your contacts
00:43 proposals
00:44 contracts to do's invoices and projects
00:48 the my idea behind it is
00:51 you would install it like on a on a
00:54 subdomain of your normal website so
00:57 you know if i was using field office to
00:59 manage all of my uh
01:00 all my projects and things then i would
01:02 have it
01:03 like i have it now which is
01:07 fieldoffice.weaverbasesite.com
01:10 so here's the main dashboard you can see
01:13 all the
01:14 the entries um right here
01:17 this uses one blog list i had them all
01:20 separated out into different blog lists
01:22 but i found that you know they were all
01:24 using the same fields
01:26 essentially and so i just decided to
01:27 combine them into one
01:29 and i think it really helps to keep
01:32 everything organized
01:33 i'll show you that in a second but so
01:36 here's the
01:38 the main menu you know you have your
01:40 your
01:41 different sections here site settings
01:43 decor log
01:44 out page settings which for some reason
01:46 is not opening i don't know why i got to
01:48 figure that out
01:49 neither is miscellaneous but if you're
01:52 familiar with my other project files
01:54 uh page settings is you know a place for
01:57 you to control what these pages
01:59 look like themselves and to give um
02:01 different seo
02:02 you know elements uh that you can fill
02:04 out
02:05 uh let's see let me go to decor
02:08 which i think a lot of people might like
02:12 this is where you can customize the look
02:14 and feel of this so right now the
02:15 default
02:16 theme is this you know dark bluish
02:19 background with the
02:20 purple outlines and things um
02:25 you can actually you know click on user
02:28 and you can then set you know you want
02:31 your
02:32 background to be a color an image which
02:34 you drop the image down here
02:35 i have an overlay over the image let's
02:37 say you wanted the background to be
02:40 white so i'm just going to type in white
02:43 you can type in the hex
02:44 numbers as well but you can for certain
02:46 colors you can just
02:47 type it in and then down here i have
02:49 these um
02:51 these uh header colors and paragraph
02:54 colors
02:54 is this kind of a blue so i'm going to
02:57 go ahead and uh
02:57 copy that and put that also into my
03:00 buttons which oh it's already there
03:01 and just to show the difference i'm
03:04 going to do uh
03:05 hover text is red the button text is
03:09 going to be white
03:11 and then the text hover will be um
03:15 will be white as well why not so i'll
03:18 hit
03:18 save and then i'm going to refresh
03:24 and now my all my
03:29 elements that i've set are those
03:31 different colors so you can see if i
03:32 hover it's a red now
03:34 on and so on so i'm going to go ahead
03:37 and turn that
03:37 off and put it back to default
03:45 let that load okay all right
03:48 so now i'm gonna go and refresh this
03:51 again
03:52 get back to the default and there we go
03:56 okay so when you're on the main screen
04:02 it will tally how many of these things
04:03 you you have okay so like i have six
04:06 contacts so i'm gonna go into my
04:08 contacts
04:09 and i'm gonna see that i indeed have six
04:12 contacts
04:12 as soon as it loads there we go
04:17 okay so you can edit your
04:21 clients you can view the client you can
04:23 view the id the id
04:24 is the permalink and
04:28 what's cool is is you have a couple
04:30 different views you have
04:31 a grid view and then you have a list
04:33 view and
04:34 you have alpha alphabet
04:38 a to z or z to a and that works for both
04:42 inactive all this is this all is good
04:46 because
04:47 um if you have clients or contacts or
04:50 proposals or anything
04:52 that you have archived or whatever you
04:54 can always find them in all
04:56 so let me go back
04:59 to my proposals
05:04 and show you something here so in here i
05:07 have different proposals
05:10 so let's say that um chris at
05:13 graphicgato.com okay that's my
05:15 email for my my web design business
05:18 uh let's say that i want to have i want
05:21 and i'm not chris this is
05:22 you know chris is not me i'm you know
05:25 working with him
05:26 to do certain things so let's say that i
05:29 want to do
05:29 a new website for chris um i can go up
05:32 here to
05:33 the plus button and like i said before
05:36 it's all
05:37 one blog form so i have you know the crm
05:40 type here
05:40 i can choose so i'll just say proposal
05:43 uh let's see what
05:44 i'll do um you know brand
05:48 new website for chris okay
05:52 so that's going to be the title of it it
05:54 generates the permalink
05:56 so this proposal i want it to be due by
05:58 the 31st
06:00 and this is going to go to chris
06:03 and say chris at graphicato and his
06:05 company is graphic gato okay
06:07 so the total i'll just put you know a
06:09 thousand dollars and it's for a website
06:13 okay so you can type in whatever you
06:15 want here formatted however you want but
06:18 part of this is i'm i'm including
06:19 templates as well and you can create
06:21 your own template
06:23 so if you click on templates you have
06:25 contacts projects proposals you know all
06:27 the different templates
06:28 so i'm going to click on full template
06:31 and it brings up the template
06:36 edit view so i'm going to click uh code
06:39 edit because if you
06:41 copy and paste without doing the code
06:43 it's going to take away all the
06:44 formatting
06:46 so i'm going to copy that close this out

06:50 go to code view paste
06:53 save okay and now
06:57 so here's my proposal for chris
07:01 okay so now i am going to just
07:04 say one more time for good measure
07:08 now if i go to my proposals
07:12 i have brand new website okay
07:15 so i'm gonna click view proposal
07:24 and it takes me to the proposal view so
07:26 i can
07:28 see all the information the status is
07:30 active these are not archived
07:33 here's the tags for it
07:36 so it says hi chris powers and it shows
07:39 all the information that you can fill
07:40 out yourself
07:42 and down here and so down here i have
07:44 associated
07:45 um objects as well so you know there are
07:48 other proposals that are associated with
07:51 this email address uh projects invoices
07:54 contracts and down here contacts so this
07:57 is my cats
07:58 yes my cat works for me so she has a
08:02 she's a contact in here because we have
08:04 the same
08:05 company name she shows up in associated
08:08 contacts
08:10 now what's really nice is i can come up
08:11 here and say email the contact
08:13 so this will send a message to chris
08:15 graffigato
08:16 uh custom subject line send a file you
08:19 know whatever
08:20 but let's say that i want to send chris
08:22 the proposal
08:24 okay so and because i want him to review
08:26 it and
08:27 then accept the proposal so we can move
08:29 forward with this project
08:31 so i'm going to say email proposal and a
08:34 custom
08:34 subject line so i'll do um you know new
08:38 proposal and you can cc names and emails
08:42 i'm going to just put some dummy text in
08:44 there i could attach a file if i wanted
08:46 to but i'm not going to so i'm going to
08:48 i'm going to hit submit and it takes it
08:50 a second for it to
08:52 process because it's going through a
08:54 bunch of macros
08:55 so do be patient
08:59 and i plan to give a full full overview
09:02 of everything that's
09:03 you know that field office can do
09:06 later on this is just a quick quick and
09:09 dirty run through
09:10 all right so it says successfully
09:12 submitted message
09:14 i'll just wait for that to come through
09:16 okay so the email came through
09:19 and this is what it looked like or looks
09:21 like so
09:23 i'm using joe's email stacks
09:26 to you know format my emails and i'll
09:29 include
09:30 the code that i use for this that way
09:32 you can swap out your own you know
09:34 your own information so it comes through
09:37 like this it shows the
09:38 company logo that i set in my site
09:40 settings uh here is the uh
09:43 new proposal so it gives a
09:47 it gives you the in the subject line
09:48 your this new proposal right here is
09:50 actually
09:51 what you typed in or i typed in under
09:53 custom subject line
09:55 uh it will default to new proposal and
09:58 then field office
09:59 automatically though but in here here
10:02 here's the proposal name brand new
10:04 website
10:05 hello chris powers the total services
10:08 and then
10:08 you know this is the message so if i
10:10 clicked on this answer proposal
10:13 it opens up a website
10:17 and it is it shows me
10:20 the proposal so i can go through i can
10:22 read read or read it as the client
10:24 okay cool and then i down here ready to
10:28 sign
10:29 i can say accept or decline so
10:32 this is me saying
10:35 i accept this proposal submit answer
10:40 okay so thank you for submitting we'll
10:43 be in touch with you shortly
10:44 okay so then now
10:48 me being the person that sent the
10:52 proposal initially
10:53 i will get an email back
10:57 okay so i got the email answer so it
11:00 says proposal answer
11:02 and it says brand new website
11:07 and the company's graphic gato it gives
11:09 me the proposal id
11:11 and it says chris power's answer to the
11:13 proposal is accept awesome that means
11:15 that we can move forward with the
11:16 project
11:18 so i can close that out and i can go
11:21 into my
11:22 crm and say okay i'm gonna do a new
11:27 projects and i'm going to call this
11:31 project
11:32 i'm going to set it to be project i'm
11:34 going to call this project
11:36 brand new website
11:39 site okay because that's what the
11:42 proposal was
11:43 and i'm going to click the contact name
11:46 email company
11:50 and then i can come over here and i
11:52 actually am not sure if i have a project
11:54 i do website projects so website project
11:56 template
11:58 okay and i'm going to go in so i have it
12:01 already set up to you know show
12:04 some basic information so i can go in
12:07 and say code view
12:09 select all close that out come in here
12:12 code view paste
12:15 save okay and then actually
12:19 the total i set already was a thousand
12:22 i'll do websites and then you can do
12:24 additional information down here as well
12:26 and then drag and drop some files if you
12:28 need
12:29 so that you can have them all in one
12:31 place
12:32 so i save that
12:35 and i click on projects
12:39 up here
12:43 and now i have a list of my projects
12:45 okay so i have the brand new website for
12:48 chris powers
12:49 at graphic graphicato and i can either
12:52 edit it
12:52 i can view the project
12:56 and here's the basic information you
12:58 know you can go in and edit the project
13:01 by clicking this and fill all this out
13:04 social media accounts project outline
13:06 you know different milestones
13:09 uh it'll show you know again like the
13:11 other with the proposal one it'll show
13:12 you associated
13:14 projects invoices things like that and
13:17 you can email the contact email the
13:19 project
13:20 and you know you can start interacting
13:23 with your clients
13:25 um let's see
13:29 i think for now that should at least
13:32 give
13:32 some sense of what is going on here and
13:36 and you know all this is you know if
13:38 you're again if you're familiar with my
13:40 other projects if you go into uh
13:42 like site settings you have control over
13:46 lots of stuff
13:46 so company name the you know so it's
13:50 field office
13:51 which is what drives what it looks like
13:53 on the um the front page
13:55 uh the dashboard you have the site logo
13:59 um know you can set your email address
14:02 and you know you can do the messaging so
14:05 this is the email it's coming from when
14:07 you send and receive your
14:08 your uh your emails to your clients at
14:11 the
14:12 social media accounts for the front
14:14 facing pages
14:16 you know hours of operation site
14:18 components you can
14:19 you know show different things the
14:21 footer background
14:23 um you know all this different stuff
14:25 that you have
14:28 to set so you can control how this all
14:31 plays out
14:32 so anyway um that is field office
