00:06 Francisco weren't you uh yeah I'm about 40 miles east of San Francisco okay yeah you've got a better feed than I've got I can't get the atnt internet in here
00:20 Xfinity which is uh I have Xfinity as well do you do you have oh you think much less than a t ooh not here here it's uh best two gig down but it's asynchronous so it's only like 20 megabits up
00:37 and um ATT is five gig synchronous oh wow uh that must be fiber I they're fiber we don't have fiber out here so unfortunately I don't have fiber in my living where I'm living through currently so same
00:50 problem what did I just see walk by it wasn't a Roomba oh I got three of them around here do you
01:02 yeah cool okay we're we're good to go so tell me a little bit about yourself Scott uh Everyone by the way just let
01:15 everybody know that is watching I James is Scott so uh yeah he likes to be going by Scott so if you call me if you see hear me calling him Scott you'll you'll now know that uh yeah he likes to be
01:27 referred to as Scott so indeed Great Scott I'm sure you've heard that so many times sorry that's bad pun yeah the other Scott out here that's like second to you in comments I think is actually the
01:41 Great Scott in this channel yeah hi Scott Williams is the legend yes he is he's helped me out quite a few times um I am an old sales and Tech guy I lived in Austin Texas for about 25 years
01:54 did a lot of tech stuff out there uh loved it but uh moved back to Mississippi because kids moved this Direction's college and work so I moved to follow them uh okay building building a little
02:07 website now I've done this in the past I've used rapid Wii versus about version two I think uh maybe one it's been a long time a long time and I've got done a variety of things this views have been off and on uh back and
02:22 forth uh like not having to keep up with all of the HTML5 and CSS updates and challenges and our rapid tends to keep me out of having to yeah stay continuously up to date
02:34 so preferred over WordPress and Joomla and the others I move I've used all of those things and just prefer to have the simple control of Rapid Weaver anyway Long Tech History so but again I do
02:46 prefer as you saw in the chat or the uh the the community thread there Forum that I do prefer to have written documents yep and they do have to admit I this isn't something that I I I don't
03:01 want to do it's just uh yeah you said you know I'm a one-man band my son does help me out with support now he's 19. so if anyone's emailing into support and you see Josh that is my son so be nice
03:14 or else I'm just saying okay um I get it yeah and I I do have to be honest as well like uh there it people have various teaching
03:28 styles as well right and while I do have a book on rapidweaver an old one right if I don't know if anyone ever bought that one that was probably the hardest thing I've ever done because writing is
03:40 so not my thing um with that said you know uh I uh I do I do I am working on so you know I'm working on a version of total CMS 2. I actually been working on it like
03:53 really super hard and I I hope to have much better documentation for version two um so just saying that um but if you need some assistance let me but if you need some assistance let me know maybe I can pitch in some volunteer hours okay cool thank you I appreciate
04:07 that sure um so I mean the whole purpose of today is just to you know help you kind of get over the humps because I'm not going to write a manual this week right so just
04:19 this is not going to happen so um you know there are a slew of videos out there and yes it would be great if they were more searchable and indexed and I actually have some ideas around that I'm not going to go into that right now but um
04:35 what can I do to help you um get over the total CMS learning here first off I think you're already using total CMS on the website correct or no oh yeah no as far as using it I am using it what I tend to look for
04:52 are use cases best use uh methodologies um some understanding some general conceptual things for example I've got a Blog up and running um but what I don't as get ready to do there are some components and pieces
05:05 that I want to start using total CMS to enable me to manage or edit the website itself in fact they have some ideas regarding feeds that might be of interest or not used to I saw a post recently about a guy who wants to do that he wants to
05:18 have a uh I think a a common limited file that he actually edits that he uses feeds to then run that into TCMS to update the website I didn't did I get a chance to follow
05:31 that thread fully but I think that's kind of another idea that I've got cool yeah we can dive into that for sure um the other part of this is I don't have Fiji just FYI so that'll be totally new to me um the other part of this is that right
05:44 I mean right now I'm using it for the blog and I was just getting ready to start using it as well for and that's why I started looking for documentation was you using it as well for the CMS
05:57 parts of the website in the words fields on various Pages um what are the caveats what are the IDS you either you use you're big on the IDS for the various components by the way
06:11 it'd be great to have a graphical or a central place that pulls up all of your IDs that'd be really nice and where they're being used okay um that made sense to you or not
06:27 it I have plans for that on the admin side so you can like see everything that you have in the CMS but um there's currently no there's no map to the content side because you can use it anywhere but right not just the CMS side also the
06:42 yeah kind of like a class browser if you would that shows all the classes actively in use that'd be really again there are plans for that as well that might be a little further out but yeah
06:55 there are plans for that wow how do you have time to do all of I don't know and my I say I so I the reason I was a little bit late today if you if you don't know my wife's been in
07:09 Brazil for six weeks so I didn't know yeah so uh I've I you know and I have three kids so like having to deal with all like everything around the house cooking and cleaning and and running everything here so uh I was like I was
07:22 exhausted I actually took it like a 30 minute nap and woke up about 10 minutes before this and was like okay I'm ready to go now so you don't have time to practice darts right so I'd love to you before that dartboard sadly has been unused right
07:37 there yeah very good for a game of uh Winner Takes uh full yeah lifetime licenses for all the work and stuff funny [Laughter] all right so where do you want to start
07:50 out with this thing what can I do uh why don't you give us a share your screen and give us a tour on what your uh you know what you've built now and then like kind of ideas on where where you would
08:03 like to to I am a terrible designer I'm better at taking other people's designs and implementing them that's what I've always done that is hey we're not here guys anybody I'm not a great designer either sometimes I make things look
08:16 pretty and it's 100 by accident so let me see here how do I yeah I have not used zoom in a while so there's a green button at the bottom of your window so share screen ah there it is right in the middle
08:31 all right so it would be this desktop which is I guess it's gonna be sorry open system
08:46 oh you might have to uh you might have to enable the accessibility and system preferences and restart Zoom um so you might have to you'll you'll have to take a little respite and leave
08:58 and be right back maybe it says yep I gotta quit Zoom yep no problem we'll see you in 30 seconds all right we'll fill in the space while
09:12 hey everybody thanks for popping on today Matt Lenny Sean it's always great to see you guys thank you I appreciate it um some really good questions on the
09:25 communities lately guys so yeah keep it up it's been awesome and uh total CMS 2 been working really hard on that I got uh a completely new algorithm for pulling out exif data from
09:37 images this morning kind of finalize that well sort of finalized I I implemented the exit code but now I need to integrate it back into the total CMS but uh David is here sweet
09:51 Dave thanks for popping on you guys don't have your conference ticket yet we're a one month away one month and two days away or is it two
10:05 days yeah something like that summit.weavers.space check it out it's gonna be a blast Dr Bob Gaston thank you
10:17 there we go there's Scott how you got it so now that you renamed yourself
10:31 yeah I caught that to stick a time through I could thankfully it has been a while there we go wait
10:46 there you go how does that look for you beta [Music] I am oh check you out
10:59 all right the stage manager thing that would kind of caught my eye I was like yeah I've been I've been running Apple betas for a long time uh still sacked as an old beta test from
11:13 still upset still upset over um frame maker being bought by Adobe and uh wiped away um I don't know what frame maker is but I'm I don't know what frame maker is but I'm not I'm not surprised they just acquired
11:25 figma it'll be interesting to see what that happens with that yeah they'll ruin it yeah no surprise all right so what can we do uh one again why don't you give us a
11:38 quick tour of of what you got now uh and then how you'd like to either enhance that or you know uh questions that you have to make it better you got it okay I've got a website here guys I'm starting up it is a
11:52 semi-retirement project it is a website that is targeting uh I live in Hurricane country and have most of my life I've done a lot of bugging out and but I'm not a prepper and it seems
12:05 like on the internet there's only one type of evacuation assistance either government or it's the guys who build entire bunkers and stock it with a Year's worth of food
12:17 so this website is designed to be sort of a an affiliate type to generate Revenue to monetize it site with some advertising on it I'm using adstair at the moment
12:31 and Amazon Walmart Bass Pro Shops and maybe some other affiliates um with the idea to write some blogs test and review products you know the typical type site nothing unusual there uh but it's gonna it's aimed to be a
12:44 resource is a single place that people who might need to bug out and might want to do a little preparation before the next hurricane rolls through which it looks like it might be um air May her main hermine who's like
12:56 the next Storm come in this direction I'm not mispronouncing it because I don't see in my head but uh Fiona's often gone but the next one's coming and that's what this site's designed to do so it's going to be a combination
13:12 news alerts uh in fact if you look at to the left side of the tropical weather outlook I want these ads to go away when I have more data by the way that I just this started popping up the duplicate meta
13:26 Tags I'm not sure why uh but anyway so the tropical weather outlook is just a place where I put some things I like to automate that I'll make it easier to because we're not going to Rapid Weaver to that's the easiest place
13:38 to start with the CMS part okay obviously TCMS is being used for the blog side right it's being used to generate and you can see I've got a bit I don't
13:51 know what's causing this I think it's a Ventura issue where these kind of disappear um yeah I know if it's not doing it then go to the next page and you'll see it see up here oh yeah you have to click on
14:06 it interesting yeah a little visual issue anyway um so I have that running I need to make a better looking admin page uh let me get this out of there because
14:19 I started oops what happened here whoa times look at that yeah I wish I could say it was Ventura's
14:33 fault but rapid Weaver has crashed my entire life using it oh really yeah it's always been a little bit buggy hold on really quick what was that error that that clicked away is it still up
14:47 which one's that the one that wasn't yeah it's not still up I'm sorry go to your right Weaver preferences really quick I'd like to see something go to add-on uh what other plugins do
15:02 let's see what do you want to see disable disable flow what I think that's pretty disabled float I know it's not enough part of my history don't disable
15:14 flax sorry so um it's part of my history I I understand it could be part of your history but um what happens is so um flow I can't even remember last time that ever has been updated right
15:27 um so plug-ins live inside of the the application runtime and so if an application doesn't constantly get updated along with your um along with the OS and it's a stale
15:40 plug-in now themes and stacks don't don't have that issue okay um plus it's primary it's plugins because they actually contain executable code um so if you have a plug-in that is old um and I'll be honest right now probably
15:53 the only plug-in anyone should ever have enabled is Stacks okay um yeah good nothing else disable everything but Stacks um I even disable the built-in pages but you don't need to go that far um uh just because I like only seeing
16:07 Stacks when I click add page but that's if you know if it reduces the memory footprit footprint I would use it because look I started out using this stuff and doing away with most of the the built-in stuff
16:20 um when blocks came out remember blocks I think it was uh log hound and blocks and I think you still sell that don't you you still someone I I am the owner of blocks but um I don't it's not for sale any longer okay
16:33 anyway yeah you bought all of his stuff didn't you yes yeah yeah Jonas Jonas there we go I was gonna say Jonah oh yeah yeah I thought it was Jonas yeah I thought it was Jonas you're probably
16:45 yeah so I I mean if you're if you want my what I do is I I have stacks and the HTML page enabled that's it so blog contact page because I use Stacks anyway
17:00 but occasionally I do use the HTML page um but yeah I don't know how these got changed when update must have changed these two items uh so the default that's actually a new feature in a recent update prior it was
17:12 PHP 7.4 was the latest version you had in preview so that's a new feature actually um so you can set that to 8.1 that's really cool um I like that and well we're supposed to be getting rid of all this stuff right going to the
17:27 new Stacks Stacks Pro and Stax Pro uses PHP 8.1 by default so we're good good all right I was supposed to say that okay why don't you quit uh save that
17:40 it'll probably have you relaunch rap Beaver again but that should make that should actually make rap we were a little more stable we're gonna do there here we go
17:58 okay I made a mistake I bought this little machine and I got it mistakenly with only eight gigs of RAM so oh change that yeah it's an M1 though the m1s are
18:11 are amazing hole that's uh no it is it is but yeah let's go on are you going to start watching news and all right so
18:26 um where were we here the point is is that I want this to be yes I want to monetize it because I've got to have something for my my time and effort but I want to create a central place where people can go
18:39 um you see here on the left-hand side resources I plan on having some I haven't figured out the exact mechanism yet which is why these are all in draft mode they're not on live on the site okay but beside just news and blog and
18:52 product reviews I want to have a place where people can go and say okay I live in Colorado I'm having wildfires what resources do I have for planning preparation what you know federal
19:04 government state and volunteer resources now because I'll be honest with you and all the evacuations that I've done due to hurricanes mm-hmm a volunteer organizations were by far the most timely and useful of all of the
19:17 resources yeah I recently watched a little documentary on that and how the volunteer organizations um you know just blue FEMA or whatever government organizations out of the water in terms of not only what they
19:29 could do but timeliness as well you know Effectiveness efficiency timeliness all of that so what I eventually plan on doing is and just giving away part of the product part of this is providing a way for these volunteers you see here
19:43 this volunteer section here providing a way for the volunteers to promote their services and the areas and the kinds of responses they get they were the kind of areas they respond to emergency they respond to as well as for
19:57 a way for them to um ask for donations So eventually there will be some sort of integration with I guess I haven't gone down that path yet but I want 100 of all proceeds to go to
20:10 the you know whatever comes through whatever donations are given to be sure it goes right to the organization done for me none for the site as little as possible for whatever Tech I use that
20:23 kind of a thing so TCMS Foundation love it uh feeds looks like it might be a great thing to have in here to maybe even automate some of the components yeah we'll see that's why I asked you as
20:38 you recall about the Standalone app for um posting by a phone or iPad to the TCMS posting by a phone or iPad to the TCMS database as opposed to having to go on the browser or otherwise oh okay
20:52 remember that conversation yes I asked you about Mars edit and those guys got it I do recall that yes yeah because because I want to go to some of the actually emergency areas
21:06 um that are disaster areas and it'd be nice to be able to post directly from the iPad and iPhone okay whether it's videos yeah I mean you could do that with the web you know via the web or saving it to your home screen or something like that you know create a
21:21 customizable but yeah I love the web but it's the least common denominator and the most inconvenient fair enough fair um okay so does that give you an overview it does it's perfect thank you
21:34 so where where are we trying to move to like let's maybe maybe we start at that home page that little area there right there yep perfect I've got a home page with an admin core and a side Styles
21:49 perfect so um first thing I've a I should say your project file is very well laid out good job on that um I do have to say it is nicely designed so kudos to you on that it is
22:01 not you know hideous okay great job the Hideous comment but uh yeah um yeah good job there also another thing that that you figured out is you
22:14 know organizing your admin area into multiple pages is is a great thing um you know it it could you know that is very good so I I do think it makes sense to organize like you know here's my
22:27 content for my home page right and um you know if you have content specific to that create a page in your admin area that has it so good job there okay thank you all right so um there's I I know that you are
22:40 um there's I I know that you are you're familiar with hip wig okay and that particular area on the home page looks to be um a style text box I believe I could be wrong okay
22:55 this one yes or is it Market yes sure um oh it is but but you would you would probably like to be able to um now in that area that's right there now in that area that's right there would you like is the I'm just curious
23:08 let me just ask a few questions um is that title the tropical weather outlook always going to be that is it always going to be there not always okay okay um these are designed to be like you see
23:20 the right hand the frame one here is actually a an iframe from the homeland security what is it called
23:33 see here there's Barb's getting away obviously there you go oh yeah terrorism advisory system all right so inside this this so you want to customize this entire blue box or just the text area or the images
23:46 as well or it eventually as I get more content I like I don't like it to be an advertising heavy site but I had no other content that made sense here okay so I filled them in temporarily with
23:58 those it'd be nice if I could turn them off and on is according to what I'm using and what I need okay um but again that's not a requirement but it'd be useful okay not sure I like this ad
24:11 wish I had more control over that that's how that fits my content now are those images are they are they like a Google ads snippet oh okay got it okay cool see there you
24:26 go yep perfect okay so um I personally I I like to uh and my original goal with total CMS to be honest with you was to manage the content
24:39 yeah okay so it purely just the content whereas the the style and the layout of your website is to find in your style and layout in within Stacks or Raptor to some extent right
24:52 um or to most extent so for those particular areas um if we want to start off with that text box I I personally see that as two potential elements I think it would be nice to have a title
25:07 and then content area um now you could do that all within a hip now you could do that all within a hip wig okay but then you have to worry you have to make sure that the title is formatted
25:20 with a particular header tag okay and then you have to make sure that the content um you know is you know look all the um you know is you know look all the content is content but by doing it all in one let's say hip wig area that's what me as the
25:33 um now let's pretend I was building this for a client right I can't trust my client to um to be smart enough to put in a header and then make sure that it's an H3 or whatever
25:45 right exactly oh they might get creative it's exactly exactly 100 especially if you enable some buttons in Hip wig and then they'll make pink on purple or whatever because they think it looks
25:57 beautiful right and it doesn't okay um so what I would do okay is um so what I would do okay is um I would add in let's go ahead and add in I would add in let's go ahead and add in why don't we add in some content uh
26:10 probably and you probably want like a container stack in a one column so that you know I know you're using Foundation six so yeah so what do you want me to go back to the home page or no we'll we'll build out the admin area here really quick why not
26:25 so uh we'll add in uh um a text a text stack admin admin text oh admin text I'm sorry I'm doing a development actually we probably need two of them right yeah and one for the content right okay so um
26:40 and one for the content right okay so um let's go to the top one let's make this a header can you can you um time stamp it or have a time you see I timestamp mine
26:54 yes if you'll notice I was there's a little time stamp that people know when it's there is there a way to do that in here as well or um like you want a timestamp when that like you want a timestamp when that
27:08 particular bit of text was saved Dateline if you will so yes sort of when I posted that little report that way people know how old it is in fact if it's out of date
27:22 there isn't a way to automatically do that right now uh probably the best way would you would just type that into your text like you know the date and whatever that's what I do currently yeah
27:34 um all right so uh this area um we're gonna make that the the header of that right so um so let's go ahead and under total admin so let's go ahead and under total admin General setup
27:47 total admin in general up here in the header text in your in your Tech stack the settings let's look at the the settings for that but it's the group Total admin General setup group settings group you have it collapsed
28:01 oh in your settings in the text I'm sorry I am so lost here for a second Okay click on the texture chat in your header click on the header oh there we go all right in your settings it's either settings yeah I'm sorry I'm sorry there you go General setup okay I just
28:15 wanted to change the CMS ID right so um make it make a CMS ID that makes sense for this right because it's going to be for this one particular area and you can use it maybe on multiple Pages maybe this could be on the sidebar and other Pages too you know
28:28 now quick question for you since I have four columns in that status bar called the status bar if I have four columns there so I'm actually going to have four sets of these header and text
28:42 blocks am I not um so it depends on if you want to have a header for each section it would be every section is different okay there you go uh you know another option for this so um I didn't know you
28:55 wanted to manage those as four separate sections you could turn this into a Blog to be honest with you right and you just have blog post one two three and four um you know and just edit those blog
29:07 posts and then just edit the blog post let's continue down this route though and then you can decide if that's something you want to do in the future um it works yeah so uh give this a CMS
29:20 perfect okay now um yeah should we header yep and then um change the editor we do not want hip
29:32 Mark text down exactly um you could check off Mark we don't need a mark format markdown for this and the form height is going to be one line
29:47 or my height is one line got it okay yep um and then your text box um this is up to you whether or not you this is up to you whether or not you want hip wig or plain text it's up to you now you hip wig would be nice
30:00 because then it would you know I noticed that you had like your date was bold right um so um hip wig gets you a nice bold button hip wig gets you a nice bold button right gotcha yeah because I have the
30:12 formatting bars exactly right um so make sure the CMS ID is um set to whatever you want all right block One content
30:25 perfect I almost did a uh xcode formatting now if we go into the admin okay um you probably are aware uh if you
30:37 um you probably are aware uh if you scroll down we have the admin core hip wig settings and all those buttons those are those allow you to enable and disable the buttons in the hip wig toolbar right yeah and discover that
30:50 after you pointed that out yeah for some reason I skipped right over it mentally but by default I have minimum there right bold italic underscore and Link that's it right but you can enable all
31:05 kinds of crate crazy things in here okay um you know like you know you can enable table layouts and image uploads and videos and stuff I don't think you want that in this case though you just want that area to be a text area right so
31:18 correct I would say I enabled that yep I enabled that in the blog but not here perfect okay now unfortunately right now these are a page wide setting right so whenever you set this in admin core it will affect all the instances on the
31:31 page um in version two I'll probably have it give you the ability to override that locally as well for each individual instance but for right now this is a page-wide setting okay gotcha um so now that we have those two things set
31:44 so now that we have those two things set up I wish there was another way to do this rather than the sidebar
31:56 all right okay so um let's add a I know you're using Foundation six so let's go ahead and add in foreign
32:09 are you assuming you you have that as an H3 what is that H3 right now okay this right here is set to
32:21 perfect oh that's an H4 yep all right actually look well we'll we'll continue with this yeah go to H4 set that to be an H4 all right okay and then um are you
32:34 I am not okay perfect so um if you go to is CMS core on this page
32:47 probably yeah I think it's going to be in here and I think I added it there it is that Center features yep there we go it's
32:59 okay so if you look in here you'll see that where I have text macros s by the way did I okay since I have site Styles no I had a standalone site style never mind that's not going to interfere okay
33:12 um so you see in the settings um I have those are the all those macros are there for uh basically for copy paste purposes and I just noticed the one I'm going to tell you to use isn't there
33:26 for inside site Styles I hide it inside site Styles but if CMS core outside of site Styles you'd see an entire Legend just for fun move that CMS core atop the
33:38 site style stack move this yeah just move it above the site style stack for right now we can put it back I just want to show you what there we go okay so um if you see there the very first Total
33:51 CMS text macro is raw content which is CMS data okay um that's the one we're going to be using okay you can move the cms4 back into there um I just wanted to kind of show you where you can see where all the
34:04 did it put the right place now there we go perfect okay all right so um let's go back into the header and um where the content is of that
34:16 okay um we're gonna put in percent CMS um uh parentheses
34:30 uh and then your CMS ID so I think it and then close parentheses close percent ah okay so your percentage Yeah percent
34:47 signs yep okay click that perfect all um now I did notice um inside that Tech stack do you have classes set this Tech set yes I have one class okay why don't you go ahead and copy that
35:01 class maybe we can put that in um I'm gonna drag this out real quick all right you wanted to copy that okay would you want me to do with that put it in here put it on the header yeah let's all right
35:14 perfect okay so now we have a header okay and um if you wanna well there's no content saved okay let's go ahead and create um so now we need to add the content
35:29 area from the CMS into there okay um okay and to add just a block of text um the easiest way is just use the CMS text content stack and put that here uh directly under the
35:46 content content content text all right so with this one um you don't need to do the macros all you need to do
36:02 is put the CMS ID in there block One content block One content all right and then what we want to do is
36:16 uh under display okay you'll see that there's various things now we are using hip wig so what what you should do is Click hip wig there perfect okay now in order to get the perfect okay now in order to get the
36:29 styling that we want okay um what we're gonna do is uh put that class in the class field there as well put this class no uh no your extra the
36:41 one that you had on the header gotcha now just curious uh how what is creating that class is it a a text color beautiful okay so let me teach you
36:56 something here Okay so with the text color swatch let's say you want to have that that style of text on
37:08 everything that's inside of extra content one right because you want you want all your headers to be orange you want all your text to be white or and whatever other text colors you set inside that swatch
37:23 right okay okay so I assume that the status bar four columns has the class extra content one is that correct I don't think it does actually yeah I'm sorry it does yeah it does okay sorry so um basically what we want to do is we
37:37 want to affect the text colors for everything in extra content one right so if you go back to your text color so if you go back to your text color swatch just remove the underscore text from
37:55 okay hit enter tab or whatever there we go okay and now uh now you can actually remove that class from the header and the text area there
38:08 in here yeah uh oh that oh we never added it to that one so you can remove it from the header this one yep exactly no just remove the whole class oh one of the whole class all right yep
38:21 because um so our our four column there um you have a background Swatch that says make this uh blue background and then make all the text colors inside of it the colors you defined in that swatch
38:35 so we did it because you're inheriting exactly yeah okay got it the text color swatch basically applies to everything on the inside and if you notice that that header there is still orange even though
38:49 we remove the class right that we had on there that makes sense that makes sense I need to go through and refactor this whole project but we'll do that later yeah that was a little bit of foundation six help instead of total CMS but yeah I just um cool okay so next up good
39:05 cool okay so next up good um next is let's go ahead and take the content that we had here and save it in total CMS okay so why don't you go back to your go to the admin page that we that we had
39:20 right let's go ahead and put in your let's see here oh I just noticed you'll probably need a save button on this page uh because yeah
39:35 command s won't work inside preview no it will not I mean you can preview in the browser too but um and then command s uh say button so you see there it is just drop that in there and we'll need a
39:52 I need to learn how to use projects by that is my cat you hear
40:05 I like that you use the title field what is that oh I'm not not many people do really yeah
40:17 I can't imagine uh not using it because these things get I think most people don't take the time to do it right they think oh yeah I all
40:31 know what it is you know documentation yep let's go ahead and uh yeah go ahead and add in your header I think you save that text you could just minus the uh
40:45 that cat you need to go and say and then you'll probably want to change that you have mark down there so you're probably going to want to um
40:58 change the asterisks and put that put that to be bold and click save
41:11 okay I just know I did not oh what what you have your CMS license in admin core um yes yes it should be everywhere I thought
41:25 go back to edit mode we can just verify it's in there nope it's not there here maybe there it is
41:41 oops oh fancy yeah I live with command Z
41:55 ah cat there we go perfect now it should work all right oh but
42:08 oh but you're gonna have to get down it's actually my daughter's cat she's a
42:25 and she cannot have the cat wither all right that works right hey let's go to the that works right hey let's go to the
42:43 right so as we see there obviously there's two because you still have the old one there but it's the same exact thing and now it's managed by total CMS that's much better that's
42:56 excuse me much better and I can just duplicate this for the rest of the world correct so now what you can do like you have those ad Snippets there right um you know you you could have you know
43:10 if you wanted ad Snippets maybe maybe you have a generic um you know add snippet area and you're in total CMS okay and then um you know you can inject that wherever
43:22 you want on the page or you can you can use something like have you ever used toggle before you could have toggle that can toggle either an ad or a text area I have not but I was thinking because I think some of your Stacks have or some
43:35 of the yeah some of the stacks have visible and not not visible functions in uh let's see let me go back and just
43:48 and I think that somehow it's not here just another feature here but I think you have other Stacks that have the ability to turn off which is I guess toggle is one of the one you're mentioning for that sure so I would drop
44:00 to the HTML side for fun here let's let's let's do um um why don't you delete that the text the old text area which you don't need anymore which is here okay right
44:13 I think that's right oh you gotta delete twice I don't understand that yeah the first one deletes the content yeah I I filed a bug for it um all right so what I'm thinking is
44:26 all right so what I'm thinking is inside uh total CMS there's something called a toggle which allows you to turn
44:40 um so in this case let's say um so in this case let's say um go back to the admin area
44:55 uh probably homepage uh there okay there we go um let's all right another let's add another text box on there um for ad for the for your ad code
45:09 got it okay um and give that a CMS ID of whatever whatever you like extra ads or something block
45:23 let's see let's just call it block I can't do you can't use capitals there can you um you could but I I tend to keep it all all right all right all right it's called a block too because that's
45:35 it's called a block too because that's where I'm going to actually put it I guess next okay all right uh and we're not going to use hip wig uh yep turn off markdown
45:49 and uh yeah three lines Heights fine perfect okay um um so what we're gonna do is um let's go so what we're gonna do is um let's go ahead and uh also add a toggle an admin toggle to this page
46:03 here yep and call this um uh CMS ID of I don't add advert toggle or something like that clock one let's see
46:15 block one talk there you go close enough okay yep all right so um um let's let's go ahead and copy that let's let's go ahead and copy that advert code that you had so that we can
46:32 all right so we'll get the advertising code yeah sorry what am I going here sidebar I mean yeah
46:45 I need to learn that shortcut I have not learned that I think it's command l forget now I keep one of the wrong one habits
46:59 all right excuse me put that in here uh and we need to preview this page yeah and then paste it in okay and then click save
47:13 and click save Perfect all right so now Perfect all right so now um we'll leave the toggle off for now we'll play with that in a minute now right so what what I want to do is
47:31 um for now let's just use our block One content instead of trying to duplicate all that that all right so um let's add a total CMS
47:45 talk content toggle stack above your ad toggle content yes above my snippet there you go okay um and then put the CMS ID of that
48:00 toggle to was a block 2 toggle yep all right and then uh we're gonna have enable it off yep so basically this is
48:13 going to allow you to find different content whether the toggle is on or off okay so what we what we're going to do is uh let's delete that HTML stack that we have on the bottom there okay this
48:25 one actually actually no we can actually keep it um just move it into now do you want to toggle the advert on or do you want to toggle that ever off uh you you determine whether or not you want when the toggle is on put the advert or when
48:38 it's off put the advert so move it into on or off it's your your decision this toggle here perfect yeah so let's move it into the on position let's move that HTML into the arm with you I'm with
48:51 you okay so now now edit that HTML because we don't want the the HTML in there we want to put in the code from Total CMS right so let's delete all that all right and then we're going to put percent CMS and then we're going to put percent CMS
49:06 uh capital D I'm sorry I did that again didn't I uh parenthesis and then it was a block to advertisement I think it was yep
49:20 close close parenthesis percent perfect click perfect and for fun let's just let's just copy the header in the text from
49:34 okay perfect alt drag okay let's go and preview this page
49:46 so right now if you remember that toggle was off yep okay so now if we were to go that and okay so now if we were to go that and toggle it on the add snippet would be there instead of your
50:00 text this is perfect I appreciate the help on I am assuming you don't need to click the save button toggles just automatically saved um so let's go back to home
50:13 see that's that kind of text information okay um oh what happened there um oh what happened there I don't know let's go back to edit
50:25 once this goes away oh go to admin core on your on the home page we are on the home page so admin core
50:39 uh there is a uh no not CMS core I want admin core I'm sorry which I think is the same no on the
50:52 admin page oh on the admin page I'm sorry here this one or this one this one uh yeah that one yeah okay
51:05 and it is there do we have see it goes away there you go okay um so there is a check box it's on by default okay remove script and style tags right here we want to turn that off
51:17 and the reason we want to turn that off for this page is because we're actually saving a JavaScript snippet okay so um by default this prevents people from
51:30 harming themselves but we know what we're doing and I know that I want to save the JavaScript snippet so um unfortunately we're gonna have to we're gonna have to save that ad code again
51:45 hit save uh yeah one uh oh interesting it is there uh why don't you go ahead and and select that and paste it again
51:57 and save it again all right all right now let's try to go back to the um home page
52:10 interesting welcome to my world
52:27 okay toggle is there when it's on toggle toggle is there when it's on toggle block to toggle uh let's verify the CMS ID of that of that that in the HTML stack where the ad is
52:39 here uh no double click on the HTML so we can uh no double click on the HTML so we can look at the the snippet there uh of the content there we go block to advertisement
52:52 yep can we copy that and then make sure that would be here right correct
53:08 advertising advertising why don't you there we go all right so well we're gonna have to yeah preview and then pay and then save that code again um this time it disappeared oh uh change it
53:23 this time it disappeared oh uh change it to advertising preview again copy it and what's that if you change or is the is the snippet the same in that in block
53:35 three yeah it is I can just go okay cool okay cool yeah I don't know it's it's the same advertising block cool code because it's just a rotating
53:51 and preview yeah preview should be good all right back to the
54:08 so now if you were to toggle that on and off it would toggle between your ad code or a a piece of text excellent okay now you could do the same
54:22 exact thing like early we're not going to build this now but you could build a Blog that is that has four items or potentially even more and you can even like shuffle them and display four at random right right and then each of
54:36 those could be you know a header any text content you could also store ad Revenue in there as well um you know or ad Snippets um and there's toggles for each individual blog post as well that you
54:49 can access so um you know you could use blog to build that out which one is more versatile with the least amount of work the blog approach
55:01 or this CMS approach I think blog is a simpler and more more uh flexible approach okay because then at that point you can then use that in many different places and it's really
55:15 only managing a Blog whereas this if you notice you'd have an ad Revenue well a you would only need one ad Revenue slot for the entire site because now wherever you put that uh ad Revenue macro is
55:28 gonna plop that that in there right so that's actually a good thing for you to have anyway okay um but for to manage these content areas for individually you need a header and a
55:43 text area and a toggle for each column right which is the blog I could design it one time and have it exactly and then and then with blog you have flexibility of having maybe you have eight different ones maybe you have eight alerts I don't
55:56 know and then you just randomly go through them or you display all of them right it's up to you but um right and then with blog you could also have the ability to um you can set the date on it right or
56:09 set the date to when that is going to expire so that it no longer shows after a certain period of time um there's all kinds of different things you could do right so you definitely have a lot more flexibility with blog
56:22 but hopefully doing this though hopefully it it opened your eyes to you know what you could do oh absolutely absolutely it gave me a lot more information about how to use
56:37 uh TCMS and it's great awesome okay um I know you had talked we had talked previously on real Mac form and Weaver space about um blog templating
56:49 yeah okay okay blog post building and templating yes blog post building and templating yes yes and I think that maybe I wasn't doing a good enough job explaining it okay um so I'm I'm are you are you curious
57:02 um so I'm I'm are you are you curious can you show me the example of a blog post layout that you would like to have um you know access to um when you create a blog post you mean
57:15 like one of the ones I'm hoping to be able to generate correct oh I'm not sure I can find one but I'll see if I can find something if I go to a typical
57:31 let me see if I can find something if I go to simple Flipboard here you click clip on a new site I don't know
57:44 which one to grab maybe ZDNet and you'll see what oftentimes there will be add not this thing here but there you go advertising it pops up in between in
57:58 your flow ever so often into your flow some of those would be nice to have that on the have that in here's another one you see there's another just pops up in there sure it'd be nice if I could put content
58:11 and then have it broken up around these if I've got a really long blog post that the advertising shows up every two paragraphs roughly every 12 lines kind
58:24 of a thing sure um so that I don't have to manually add in so that I don't have to manually add in advertising content in the middle of every one of these every time I do it maybe some I don't want to have any
58:37 advertising in or I only want to have it to the side because it's that kind of um it's just being able to to identify my layouts that I'm going to use on a regular basis
58:50 to be able to choose which one I'm going to use paste in the content either the um the images and the textual content tables whatever it happens to be and tables whatever it happens to be and have the advertising or other types of
59:04 components block fill in automatically okay according to whatever design I'm choosing to use at the time and then save those that's the templates right and then save them so I can just pick okay I want this particular blog post to
59:17 have this sort of content layout got it so and you would mention that you might want multiple possible blog post layouts correct yeah that's that's the template right okay so some
59:30 some blog posts may not I don't have average for example if I'm reviewing a product I don't want to have advertising pop in that might compete with the product that I'm reviewing got it that seems to be out of my control then
59:43 and it if I get if I'm lucky enough to get sponsors I can't imagine I know I wouldn't be happy if a competitor's ad popped up in my review sure yes okay um I have some ideas around that
59:56 um I have some ideas around that um let me go and I'm going to share my screen and uh um all go ahead and show you my ideas around that
60:09 um let me see I think I have a Blog let me go ahead and build out this page
60:22 a little bit here go for it
60:35 blog form Al link let's just add some routine and contacts
60:52 and all right we're all hip wig hip wig all all right we're all hip wig hip wig all all right so here I just have this is
61:04 obviously very simple it's just a permanently titled summary and content area okay let's go ahead and um let's say that I want to have um now if you were to use hip weight you now if you were to use hip weight you
61:17 know you could build out hip wig actually hold on one second I need to add something uh one key thing to this to templating things especially with hip wig is we want to have we haven't turn on the HTML button at least temporarily
61:32 while we're building our template okay um and we'll always do this let's let's add a few other things let's just add in a numbered list um we'll add indents
61:46 text Style line button let's do that so let's go ahead I'm just going to
62:01 quickly build out a dummy thing let's say this is my header okay and let's say I want to make sure that that is a heading three okay um and then I'm going to put in
62:15 um some filler text and then in your header okay yep well no this is the summary area I'm I'm this is a blog post this isn't a header um summary area okay got it um let's say
62:30 summary area okay got it um let's say let's say I want to make this one a H4 okay and then um in here I have um in here I have
62:47 all right um excellent three okay um excellent three okay um and then
63:05 just kind of show you let's say I I know this is a very simple template right you can make things much more dramatic or or whatever right but um and also you're looking for fun let's
63:17 just do this too so it's a little bit different indented okay so let's say this is my uh my template that I wanted to have for this particular content area
63:30 okay um what I can do is I'm going to go um what I can do is I'm going to go ahead and go to the code View my world is infecting your world uh-oh
63:46 instead of me trying to debug that I'm going to uh get the code a different way but I I will look into that after this live stream okay um not sure if I did something stupid
63:59 but uh let's just go ahead and um pretend that worked and what I'm going to do is I'm going to copy um I'm just going to copy HTML hi what this I'm just going to copy HTML hi what this button should do is when you go to code
64:14 view oh look okay whatever um all right so there we go it worked the all right so there we go it worked the second time so if anyone gets that error click on it twice um there we go um so if you see it it shows us the actual
64:27 HTML that hip wig is generating okay so I'm just going to control a I'm going to copy that okay then I'm going to go into my summary and I'm going to say Define default template and I'm going to paste it in there
64:41 okay now all right I'm gonna go ahead and preview this again and what we see is that that default template is now there by default
64:54 now now I have the layout that I built all I need to do is edit the contents now okay so whenever I go to create a new blog post this is the default content area
65:06 but it's only for one particular template right I can't choose which template I want yes I haven't gotten that far yet all right I just I just want I wanted to show you this ability
65:20 okay that that's cool okay um now this works great for hip wig um if you want to use hip wig you have to put in HTML into here okay so I recommend building out your template with hip wig copying this code View and
65:33 then later on it once you're happy you can turn off that code view because you probably don't want your customers maybe having access to that right so you turn that off because you don't need it anymore um and then when we refresh um and then when we refresh it's gone now right but the template's
65:46 still there okay now obviously um Blog has many different content areas okay uh summary is one we have content we have
65:59 um extra content extra content too and media now explain extra because my my understanding of extra content was a
66:11 develop a concept developed around was a rapid Weaver three I think or something like that yeah it's completely not even not even anything close it's just okay this is just an extra content area because we have we had content and
66:24 people are like I want another content area so my Brilliance I said oh I will give you an extra content area so I called it extra content has nothing to do with what used to be from themes
66:37 gotcha it's just an extra content area and then people wanted another one so I added extra content too okay okay um and then you can also use media um and then you can also use media
66:50 um so media by default is one line but you can make it uh another one so you have we have access to a lot of different content areas in in a single blog post right okay um why does this affect your ideas so your
67:03 why does this affect your ideas so your idea was I wanted to have a bit of content and then I wanted to have an ad and then I wanted to have another bit of content and an ad right and and I agree it could potentially be nice if
67:17 like you would be like after every 20 lines of content we have an ad yes um and it's it's possible you could code um and it's it's possible you could code something that does that with JavaScript okay um it wouldn't be simple though
67:30 um it wouldn't be simple though um I'll admit um I have a potentially a simpler idea okay and let's say I broke my blog post into three three content areas and in
67:43 between content and extra content I would have an ad and inside in between extra content and content too I could okay does that make sense so basically
67:56 it doesn't make sense yes right so on my blog post page on the content side I would put in the content and then I would have an ad and then I would have extra content and then I have an ad and then I put the content for that you know
68:10 does that kind of make sense so it gives you semi-control right over I don't want to have this content and then an ad where's is the ad code being pasted in as HTML inside of each of these contents Yeah so basically here I'll we'll
68:22 quickly there let's just quickly build that okay okay um so let's do blog content okay um so let's do blog content okay um so over here let's just quickly do do
68:35 do [Music] [Music] that site Styles and then we're gonna that site Styles and then we're gonna add a container okay and then we're gonna go to CMS and we're gonna add a
68:50 blog post stack okay and then uh so here you would add um you know content extra content and extra content too okay then what you now remember we already saved your
69:05 little ad snippet to a a global setting in in total CMS right right so all you're going to do is um you're going to uh this one
69:21 okay so it's not in the content it's a dish it's external external Stacks yeah so you you build it into the um now if you wanted uh you could if you wanted a special ad thing for that blog
69:33 post right um You can maybe have media use this field to store ad an ad snippet right if you wanted something specific for this blog post does that could I
69:46 drop out of curiosity could I drop an OM bed uh stack in here if I wanted to have say a Twitter a couple Twitter lines from um um yeah well so um
70:02 hip wig if you're using hip wig um hip wig actually supports oh embed okay okay um so um if you go to admin core um if you go to admin core
70:19 and you enable or is it embedly okay um this will enable um this will enable um embed support for tweets and all that stuff right in your in your blog post content okay okay all you have to do is enable this
70:32 all you have to do is enable this embedly link right there and you're done okay um and if you don't want to use them um and if you don't want to use them deadly I actually um I there is the feature baked into
70:45 total CMS that doesn't use embedly it doesn't work on everything it does work on Twitter though and ultimate I don't know the syntax off top of my head so um embedly if if you're that works then
70:59 immediately you put a Twitter URL in there and boom done so I just go to the documentation okay there's no documentation that's right oh man I gotta that one made that one left the
71:11 mark that one left mark sorry I couldn't resist the joke ah no worries you see the hazings I get on Friday okay um so um so does that help I I think that strategy
71:25 does that help I I think that strategy should help you okay huge okay so now um now let's do a different thing you wanted the ability to have different templates so let's say this blog form
71:39 you know has this template I need to have an optional one to have a different template right okay so there's nothing stopping us from having as many blog forms as we
71:55 okay okay so let's say um I'm gonna call this blog template one okay and then okay I'm gonna duplicate this I'm gonna duplicate this
72:08 um and I'm gonna call this one blog content too okay um and then in this and that's um and then in this and that's pretending blog template two I put in a okay now the form the form is still
72:25 going to save to the same CMS ID both forms are going to save to the same total CMS blog ID all right but I just have multiple forms each form is going to define a different
72:37 so okay it doesn't matter which one I utilize to post the blog in the blog list nope it doesn't so then all you're going to
72:49 do is you're going to have something like this right so let's say this is my admin blog admin list page right so I have a blog list up here and then all I'm gonna do is um create a uh a block grid up here
73:04 create a uh a block grid up here we're gonna link um and then we're gonna say
73:17 template one and template two exactly and then this one this this button is going to link to um blog template one and then I'm gonna create another one
73:30 and this one's gonna link to template two and you could have as many as you
73:42 there we go set that right and then you probably set that right and then you probably want to add something up here so you know like you probably had like a header
73:54 so you know what you're dealing with each time exactly right so that you you know you have some sort of reference when you're on the page right yeah that's just semantics are yeah details
74:07 that's just semantics are yeah details excellent excellent okay so then then when you when you preview this page and then here let's just be thorough right
74:25 new blog and then you can have different buttons preview this page right so here I have I can create a you know a new blog from template one or a new blog from template two if I click on template
74:38 one it takes me to the the blog form page for template for that type of blog perfect and then you know if I wanted template two when I go here I click that it takes
74:50 me to the my template too so all of the um if I use labels and tags Etc that's all saved to the same CMS database yep and it just exactly excellent
75:03 excellent excellent so these are just front end front ends to the back end data period exactly from Front Ends yep exactly all right all right now some other
75:16 things on the on the content side that are are useful okay um there is something called a layout rule there is something called a layout rule okay in blog okay let's say for example um remember how we said you're gonna have
75:28 remember how we said you're gonna have content and then this will have your ad thing and then you have extra content and what what if you have a blog post that doesn't have an extra content 2 area so you didn't want to display the
75:41 ad and content for it you only want to display the ad and content here if extra content 2 actually has content yep right because maybe you have a short blog post that there's not you're only going to have one ad in the middle okay exactly
75:55 so in this layout rule you would just say um and watch I probably didn't I picked the feel that you can to actually build a rule off of a didn't I I did what a what a prick
76:08 that's all right but Leia rule um so you could do something like this so you could say if tag is um you know I don't know two ads I don't know whatever right
76:22 um so if if tag is two ads then display this right so you can build out things like um you know based off if it's featured or if it's draft or if it's archived or if the author is set to something or if tags or categories you do all kinds of
76:37 stuff here okay and basically it's um it allows you to do stuff like that except to check if it has text or not it's yeah you know what I I you know I I surprised I I I will add that to my list of things to do
76:49 um because I think that um I added that to the late there's also a layout rule in the blog list stack and it does allow you to do that but okay um you can't do it in the in the blog
77:01 post page um probably because no one asked for it so now you have a use case for it now we have a use case for it um so yeah there's a layout rule I mean it's it works a little bit differently
77:14 than than on the blog list and the blog post but um it's the same general concept now you know what's going to happen here one of your um great project guys are going to see this and they're going to say hey I can make a
77:27 project that has multiple blog templates exactly yes there we go there we go they'll take all the credit for it they'll take all the credit for it they'll take all the credit for it yep
77:40 good work Joe um all right does that I think I think that answers most of your questions on templated blogs it provides a lot of support there yes it does it will help me a lot I appreciate that at least at
77:52 least it'll get you going I'm sure you'll probably have some questions as you keep going but uh you know I have a habit of finding areas where I want new text it's not there oh you look like a troublemaker so yeah I I am ask my wife
78:06 asking what he's worked with me I'm always saying yeah but why can't you do this yep yep uh you had a question on feeds what was your question on feeds well you may not may not have one I was just thinking about
78:21 um one of the ways of um providing the content to the status page which would be to edit have a shared file maybe on iCloud or some other place where I could then tie
78:33 a feed to in other words this text you're seeing is going into our CMS I change it on because you don't have a Blog editor native blog editor so if I could open up
78:45 a file and change it in that then I could just without having to go log into the website sure so um I do have a solution for you okay and
78:58 all right this one is documented okay we're gonna go to the community all right and and um
79:21 by the way I love the foundation six uh website documentation oh thank you excellent um total CMS in version 1.9
79:36 total CMS in version 1.9 um I added the ability to uh Import and Export from a Blog okay so what that allows you to do is
79:49 you can export a Blog to a CSV file make whatever edits you want and then re-import that CSV file and it will update or add new blog posts based
80:07 cool so um so basically all you have to do is go to uh the the URLs defined here um here let's go ahead and I will uh
80:21 all right we'll do the export
80:39 license because I I don't want anyone just to go to your blog and and Export your data right so you have to put in your license key and the CMS ID of the
80:51 blog okay sure let's go ahead and do there we go and I'll export blog and I click export and what are you using for your Mac with your text macros typeinator
81:06 it's not the prettiest looking app but it's fast and tried and true for a deck over a decade I've been using it so uh I um so there we go so now I have the CSV
81:20 file okay that has all the data I can edit any anything tags um the actual content author all that everything's here the only thing that's
81:32 not here is images you can't because CSV is text it it doesn't allow you to update or add images okay so whatever images you have in a blog post will remain there okay um but it allows you to change um but it allows you to change
81:47 um and then conversely once I edit that right and then you put it same thing you put your license key your CMS ID and
82:00 then you can browse to that CSV file and import it okay okay um and uh and all the documentation for this is right here on the page so um fantastic
82:13 thank you so yeah very I know people that have that really use this to um I have a bill burden is a uh you probably might have seen him he's around he has an extensive collection of stamps
82:26 and he has a very large um website that catalogs thousands of stamps and um he basically uses this important export to uh you know bulk modify thousands of Records
82:40 um you know much easier than he could having to go one by one right uh because you can do Global search and replace and all kinds of stuff in your CSV file export yeah exactly import it right so right um so yeah uh the important export um so yeah uh the important export
82:55 utility is is really good very good by the way when you get around to uh in your free time to uh creating that class uh browser and
83:07 uh manager be sure to have a global search replace okay we'll we'll see if that's we'll see if that will be possible when I'm when I'm refactoring the uh the uh project I like being able to be nice people to go
83:21 through and see what I've gotten and rename them appropriately as needed yes cool all right um thank you Joe my pleasure while I'm um thank you Joe my pleasure while I'm here on the live stream I just want to
83:34 show some some people something I did today actually with beads uh while we're here oh oh I'm not I'm sharing me anymore stop sharing let me just share this really quick if you don't mind Scott of course not simple implementation so
83:49 um Julia on the community wanted to have a select box that had like 200 entries okay and she didn't want to go through and manually add 200 of these select
84:03 option Stacks right like who wants to do that okay so um super easy to do with feeds super easy to do with feeds okay so with feeds um you can you can provide a CSV feed
84:16 and just put uh you don't need to provide a CSV file you can just type the CSV directly into here into the data and then basically what I'm doing is for every item in this data I'm just going
84:29 to create a select option right so um I now I mean that has one two three but if you see it now created a select option for each data point
84:41 um in there which is pretty slick what is the delimiter for that I didn't see that uh delimiter for what I'm sorry for the uh delimiter for what I'm sorry for the items the items oh they're they're commas um yeah I mean if you wanted like let's
84:55 say she only wanted she didn't want to have a late a different label and value combination let's say she just wanted one value and it's whatever shows up um in the in the label will also be
85:08 submitted to the form basically then you there so basically I I the first the first I only have a one column CSV data so of label so the first the first row
85:20 here is my label that's the header of my spreadsheet quote unquote right and then here's the rest of my data right so I have one two three then when I preview that um there we go and then when I submit um there we go and then when I submit
85:32 this it'll be the same thing right so fantastic yeah so just a kind of a maybe an unconventional use of feeds because most people are thinking I'm going to purchase CSV to display data here's just a really simple way of using
85:46 it which is I just have an entire list of something and I want to create 200 options in a select box for it easy to do with feeds very nice
85:59 cool very nice well Scott I appreciate you taking up so much of your time to come on with me um are there is there any other questions that I can help you out with while we're on you are fantastic no this I loved it thank you very much awesome cool so thank you very
86:13 much Scott and uh we'll see you on the community asking your questions uh unfortunately for you yes you will [Laughter] cool thank you cool thank you take care everybody thank you very much Scott I appreciate
86:30 so thank you very much everybody for coming on I appreciate it hopefully you got a little bit out of that um you know we didn't go totally beginner there but you know it was fun
86:43 to talk with Scott and see what his challenges were and um yeah I I think the templated blog idea is a pretty cool one right um where you can you know create different templates for as many different blog post types as you want
86:56 right um You can completely customize the form um You can completely customize the form like maybe one form you have a um you know images and the other one you don't I don't know something like that right but um yeah totally interesting to create
87:11 multiple different types of blog posts um and here we go hope you enjoy that take care everyone hopefully we'll see you on Friday um at the hangout uh and go get your summit ticket summit.weavers.space tickets available
87:24 now one month from right now don't miss out and I hope to see you guys there
