00:09 In this video, we're going to be looking
00:10 at PDF embed version 4. This is
00:13 completely revamped version where we
00:15 have a completely new embed that has
00:17 been modernized to work across all of
00:20 the latest browsers and all
00:22 devices. We have a very nice, beautiful
00:25 PDF viewer that we can go ahead and view
00:27 the uh all the thumbnails. We can go
00:29 ahead and search, navigate through
00:31 pages, basically adjust the zoom that we
00:34 want, and then we can also print and
00:37 download the PDF directly from the
00:39 viewer. Now, if you want more advanced
00:41 options, make sure you go ahead and
00:42 check out PDF Pro. And it couldn't be
00:45 easier to use. Once you add the stack to
00:48 the page, go ahead and click the edit
00:49 link button. Now, once this opens up,
00:52 you're going to go ahead and either
00:53 paste in your URL or if you've added the
00:55 PDF to your resources in your project,
00:57 just go ahead and start typing that
00:58 PDF's name and then click the link
01:01 button. Now, if you're still using Rapid
01:03 Weaver and you want to actually use the
01:05 Rapid Weaver resources, go ahead and
01:07 when you add your PDF into the
01:09 resources, rightclick and say copy URL.
01:13 Once you have that URL, go ahead inside
01:15 into your link setting and go ahead and
01:18 paste that in. At this point, once you
01:21 publish your project, you're good to go.
01:23 Hey, now that we've set our PDF URL,
01:26 we'll notice that version 4 has all new
01:28 height settings. Now, I believe these
01:31 viewport height percentage settings are
01:32 probably the best bet. What this is is
01:35 the height percentage of the browser
01:37 window. So, by default, the PDF viewer
01:40 is going to take up 90% of the browser
01:43 height. And you can have custom heights
01:45 for small, medium, and large break
01:47 points. And if you still want to use
01:49 pixel or percentage uh based sizing, you
01:52 can do that as well. And of course, you
01:55 can turn the toolbar off and
01:57 on. Now, let's preview and have a look.
02:00 So, as you see, we have a nice PDF
02:02 viewer that is taking up 90% of the
02:04 height of our browser window. Um, we can
02:07 go ahead and click on over here and see
02:08 a thumbnail view of all of our pages.
02:11 Uh, we can navigate through pages,
02:13 search, we have, uh, page, uh, you know,
02:16 zoom controls as well. Um, and then we
02:18 have the ability to print and download
02:20 our PDFs, too. As you see, this is a
02:23 very elegantl looking PDF viewer that
02:26 will be identical across all browsers
02:29 and devices, and it's just really great
02:32 to use.
