00:10 hi so in this video we're going to be
00:11 looking at PDF Pro which is a highly
00:13 customizable PDF viewer that is going to
00:16 make your documents shine across all
00:18 browsers and
00:20 devices now PDF Pro is an upgrade to our
00:23 PDF embed stack that allows you to do a
00:26 lot more as you notice we have a nice
00:28 way of seeing our index or thumbnails of
00:31 all of the uh various Pages within our
00:33 document we can navigate and search PDFs
00:37 as well as you know adjust the scale but
00:40 what's really cool is some of the other
00:42 new features that we have in PDF Pro we
00:44 have some annotation features that allow
00:47 us to do some really cool things first
00:50 off is we have a highlight feature so
00:52 when we highlight we can actually
00:53 highlight
00:56 text adjust the color
01:00 we can in inject our own
01:09 text we can
01:11 draw maybe do your
01:14 signature and then we can add our own
01:16 stamps as well which allows us to add
01:18 basically any image that we want as you
01:21 see this allows us to add images
01:23 directly onto our
01:26 PDF now once we've annotated our PDF we
01:29 can actually go ahead head and print or
01:31 even download that PDF directly to our
01:33 machine we also have a lot of great
01:36 tools here that allow you to adjust the
01:38 scrolling and the layouts of the
01:40 PDF now PDF Pro is super easy to
01:43 configure simply add it to the page and
01:45 then go ahead and say edit link now once
01:48 the link dialogue opens up you just
01:49 simply paste in your either your url to
01:52 your PDF file or if you've added to the
01:54 project resources just type in the
01:57 name now if you're still using rapid we
02:00 probably you're going to add your PDF to
02:02 your project resources go ahead and
02:04 click on that PDF right click and say
02:07 copy URL now once you have that URL on
02:10 your clipboard click on edit link go
02:12 ahead and paste that URL into the PDF
02:15 URL settings once you publish you're
02:18 good to go now the height settings in
02:20 PDF Pro are exactly the same as in PDF
02:23 and bed right now and basically the
02:26 default settings are probably what you
02:27 want this is going to allow us to have
02:30 have a percentage based on the browser
02:32 height so by default it's going to be
02:34 90% of the browser height on page load
02:37 and you can supply different sizes for
02:39 small medium and large break points and
02:42 if you still want older pixel or
02:44 percentage based sizing you can do that
02:45 here as
02:48 well now next up is we can either show
02:51 or hide the entire Toolbar to give you
02:53 kind of a headless PDF youer look or we
02:56 can go and
02:57 customize the colors as well now this
03:00 allows us to have themes based on light
03:02 mode and dark mode of the browser so
03:05 depending if your user is in light mode
03:06 or dark mode you can completely
03:08 customize the theme now I personally
03:11 like the default colors that come with
03:13 it but this allows you to have a very
03:15 custom experience for your PDF
03:18 viewer now when you have the toolbar
03:20 enabled you'll notice that you can
03:21 enable and disable all of the various
03:24 tools individually to get the exact
03:27 experience that you want your users to
03:29 have have when looking at your documents
03:32 so I hope you enjoy PDF Pro it is a
