00:12 excited to introduce you to the latest
00:14 version of share it so I'm really
00:16 excited about this version it has a lot
00:18 of really great features that's been
00:20 completely Rewritten from the ground up
00:23 it no longer uses font awesome icons it
00:26 uses purely svgs you can load your own
00:29 svgs
00:30 we ditched jQuery it's been completely
00:33 Rewritten with vanilla JavaScript and
00:35 the best yet it actually does not get
00:38 blocked by content blockers we spent a
00:41 lot of time making sure that content
00:43 blockers do not hide or disable the
00:47 actual sharing functions at all so it's
00:49 super great let's jump on in and see
00:51 some of the nice new features so let's
00:54 just have a quick look at the demo now
00:56 this entire demo is given to you in the
00:58 demo file that downloads with the step
00:59 stack so if you want to play around with
01:01 things you can do that so here we have a
01:04 view of most of the icons that are
01:07 available we have all the major social
01:09 media platforms as new ones come on let
01:12 us know and we'll be happy to add more
01:14 icons and share Services as they become
01:17 available and you can go ahead and
01:20 either have icon only or as you see you
01:22 can actually encase the icons inside of
01:25 a circle you have full customizability
01:28 of the the color the Styles um and
01:31 whatnot and as you see here all of these
01:34 are functional on the demo so you can go
01:36 ahead and let's say if I click on
01:38 Facebook what happens is it will
01:39 actually open up the share window um for
01:42 Facebook you can go ahead and post that
01:44 to your social media right so this gives
01:47 so this gives your visitors an super
01:49 easy way to share your media on their
01:53 favorite social networks now on top of
01:56 social networks we also have the ability
01:57 to send out an email um copy links print
02:00 a page open a share sheet okay and
02:03 obviously on mobile those share sheets
02:05 work a little bit differently but we
02:06 have that ability now in Mac OS as well
02:08 which is really nice now if you wanted
02:10 to fancy things up Sher it also comes
02:12 with something called the Launchpad and
02:15 this is really cool I actually had to
02:17 learn some trigonometry to get this uh
02:19 bad boy written and it allows you to
02:21 hover and it will actually um fan out
02:24 the icons um that you then can then
02:27 click to trigger those shares now
02:29 another great use for share it is not
02:32 only clicking to share services but
02:34 actually maybe having a link to all your
02:37 particular social media profiles for
02:39 your brand right so in this demo here I
02:42 link to all the various Weaver space
02:44 social media profiles instead of
02:46 actually having them as share links so
02:48 we have a lot of flexibility on what we
02:50 can actually use this
02:52 for and here's another use case in this
02:54 which actually doesn't use it for social
02:56 media at all this just links to various
02:58 ways that you can get support through
03:00 Weaver space right so you can copy link
03:02 you can email us you can go to the
03:03 community or you can go to our support
03:05 page right so you know there's a lot of
03:08 different use cases for share it that
03:10 are even outside of
03:13 sharing now last but not least if you're
03:15 not a huge fan of some of the styles
03:17 that we've chosen um we have the share
03:19 it Swatch which allows which allows you
03:22 to use whatever you want to trigger your
03:24 share so here I have an image if I click
03:27 on that it actually triggers the share
03:28 sheet so we can trigger any of the
03:31 social media actions or the share
03:34 actions based on whatever content you
03:36 want off an image here I just have a
03:38 header if I click on that it actually
03:40 triggers the share action to share this
03:42 on Mastadon just as an example here we
03:45 have a button where if you click on it
03:46 and then copies the link to our website
03:48 so that gives us a really quick overview
03:51 of what sharer can do for us again
03:53 allowing our users to share our websites
03:57 on social media will help build our Our
03:59 Brands and extend the reach to our
04:02 articles to our visitors friends and
04:05 followers now another great useful
04:07 feature is linking to social media
04:09 profiles creating uh Innovative
04:12 navigation ways to link to Pages even
04:14 within our own
04:16 websites so I hope you enjoy share it
