00:09 looking at the slot machine stack and it
00:11 really couldn't be easier to implement
00:14 as we see here in edit mode i have three
00:16 different slot machine stacks
00:18 each of them has four different images
00:21 and essentially when we load the page
00:23 slot machine is going to randomly pick
00:25 one
00:26 in each column to display onto the
00:29 actual web page
00:32 there we go
00:34 and as you see each time we go back and
00:37 preview the page we get a different
00:40 content
00:41 now what sets slot machine apart from
00:42 all the other type of visibility stacks
00:44 like this
00:45 is that all of this happens on the
00:47 server therefore even though here slot
00:50 machine has potentially four different
00:52 images to display
00:53 only one of them is actually going to
00:55 get sent to the browser the other one is
00:58 remains on the server and that data is
00:59 never sent to the browser so
01:01 implementing slot machine is really
01:03 simple simply drag out slot machine and
01:06 what you'll notice is there is a slot
01:08 and you can add as many slots as you
01:10 want and you can put whatever content
01:13 you want inside of the slot machine now
01:15 i've word of caution there are some
01:17 stacks that maybe have some javascript
01:19 enabled that potentially might not like
01:22 it if slot machine it doesn't display it
01:24 on the web page so
01:26 i can't guarantee that every stack will
01:28 work in slot machine but a vast majority
01:31 should
01:32 so let's look at some of the settings
01:34 inside slot machine there aren't many
01:35 actually so if we go to the slot machine
01:38 stack there is a collapse slots
01:40 this is simply there as a convenience to
01:43 pretty much
01:44 hide
01:45 the rest and only show one slot just to
01:48 free up a little bit of space inside
01:50 edit mode
01:51 now if we look at the slot stack there
01:53 is one setting in there
01:56 it is the preview
01:58 now if we have a look at the slot stack
01:59 there is only one setting there as well
02:01 and it's to preview the slot
02:03 so when we preview our stacks page
02:05 you'll notice that that preview slot
02:08 is guaranteed to be displayed this
02:10 allows you to you know verify that the
02:12 layouts or the data that you're putting
02:14 into the slot you can quickly see it in
02:17 preview
02:19 and that's it slot machine is super easy
