00:10 hey everybody joe here and i'm really excited to show you the new fancy shiny weaver space community and while it's new it is oddly familiar
00:23 right i mean this has a very similar layout um just a much more cleaner modern feel to the weaver space community and we're going to be using this site for years to come and i'm really excited so first let
00:36 me start by saying that this is a completely new site it is completely separate from the existing community and we are starting from scratch so all the existing posts will not be here you
00:50 will need to create a new account um on this community and just treat it as a new site the url will be the same so we'll still be community.weavers.space um the same url that we always love and
01:02 are used to so all your bookmarks will still continue to work so what are what's great why are we moving well i i feel that the new this new site a it's more modern
01:14 first off search is going to be so much better so we have live search right up here at the top where we can search and get quick searches here and if we hit enter it takes us to an actual search results
01:27 page right so search is going to be phenomenal another thing straight from our dashboard from the home page you can just click and start posting straight from here now when you click on this you can actually select the
01:39 community that you want to post into technically if you want to ask for help you're going to be clicking the ask for help that's probably where most of the questions are going to be posted okay another way is via this plus button at the top so you can click plus click add
01:55 post and the same menu will come up you'll notice that now all posts have a title as well as um you know text the editor here is very similar to the editor that we have on the existing weaver space website so you should feel
02:09 right at home now when you sign up for an account i automatically add you to a bunch of different spaces but i don't add you to every space for example you are already a member of ask for help
02:21 but you might not be a member of freelancing and the freelancing space is a great space if you are building websites as a business or you want to start building websites as a business you might want to join this so to join a
02:35 space simply click on it and you'll have a button over here that says join and you'll be able to join that space other spaces that you might not be a part of is friends of weaver space so we have a few starting off with we have
02:47 foundation box weaver base camp and rdb pro space um some really amazing project files for foundation 6 and total cms now you don't need to navigate to individual spaces
02:59 because once you go to your dashboard at home you'll see all of the posts that are within all of the spaces that you subscribe to right so um basically all you need to do
03:12 is worry about this home feed but you can navigate to a specific um you know space over here on the left menu if you want to see all product announcements um product updates and so on and so forth
03:25 actually let me go ahead and talk to you about all of these spaces so what is ask for help ask for help this is going to be the space where most of the posts throughout the community are actually um made so this is where if you have any
03:38 product question you go ahead and post that here okay another great thing is about posts is we can actually tag our posts so if you have a question about a particular stack or product go
03:51 ahead and tag it with that product's name so that in the future all posts related to that product will be linked with these tags it's going to be really awesome next up is freelancing i kind of talked about that this if if you are building a
04:05 business using rapidweaver and stacks and in weaver space hopefully you can join this space and let's grow together right let's learn from each other and see what we can do to grow our freelancing businesses and take them to the next level
04:18 next up is show and tell this is going to be a great place where we can show off not only the websites that you built but maybe you've built a cool template or a interesting project file that you would like to share with the other
04:30 fellow users in the community go and post that in show and tell the pub the pub is where everything that's not about website design can go right so basically anything that you want to chat about can go right in here

05:12 have all the events so live streams um maybe notes from hangouts on fridays and things of that nature um should be a good place a good resource there then we'll have the knowledge base so these three areas here are all about
05:26 finding faqs and so product faqs already have some inside the product faqs these basically faqs about various stacks and components and web design and all that jazz okay community faqs these are going to be um
05:40 questions and maybe tips about using the community this website okay and the getting started space this will be a space where i have just a hand few hand-picked posts about how to get started using maybe foundation and total cms and
05:53 things of that nature and last but not least the friends of weaver space so if you have any questions for foundation box and davide or chris on at weaver's base camp or massimo over at r2b pro go
