Total CMS 3.5 Release Candidate 10

07/01/2026

It's crazy that it's only been a month and we have gone from RC1 to RC10. I promised myself that once we hit the release candidates, there would be no new features. There haven't been any new big features. There are some nice new small features. Everything is really much more stable now too. I want to give a big thanks to everyone who has been brave enough to test. To be honest, the only reason that I have not officially shipped it is that I really want to get the website up and running before this version launches.

So join me live today and we will look at how Total CMS 3.5 is progressing. Bring your questions and I will be happy to answer them.

Transcript

00:00 Okay. Hey everybody live. Sorry it's been a while. We had this conference and then yeah, just been busy. Life's life's been catching up. So
00:10 hopefully uh a lot of us can join us today and see all the amazing new things that have been going on inside the land of
00:20 Total CMS. Uh let me get ahead and Oh, there's the chat. It was uh it was
00:29 lagging. What's up, David? You know what I just realized?
00:39 I don't think I ever sent out the email. Oh, no. Oh, no. I was so busy working on some
00:48 other stuff. No. Oh, and it didn't go out. [snorts] I am a dope. So, oh well. Um, let me let
00:58 me quickly send that out. [laughter] Um,
01:06 excellent. Well, we we got a few people in here. Okay. Uh, I want live stream reminders.
01:21 Oops, I'm out of practice, right? [laughter] I I think actually on the community it probably just shows the link. It like doesn't show like the whole nice Yep, it
01:31 doesn't. Let me go fix that really quick. Man, rookie. You think I haven't been doing this for 10 years? The heck.
01:45 Okay. [snorts]
02:00 Okay, there we go. All done. All fixed. Well, they'll go on out. So, in a few minutes, we we probably get some more people as
02:10 the email goes out and uh more people will join in. Oops. Sorry about that. I created that. I created it all like over
02:19 two or three hours ago and man, brain fart. Okay. But thank you guys. Matt, you're here.
02:27 David's here. Nice guys here. Excellent.
02:37 Just the crazy people that are here that check the site constantly. Nice. I like it. I appreciate that, guys. Okay. Well, um I'm not going to wait for a bunch of
02:45 people to join. Uh that's why it's on YouTube and you can replay it. So, um, a lot of stuff's been going in in Total CMS 3. Um, obviously, uh, you know,
02:56 there was the summit and you know what, I I I did a kind of the state of the Weaver Space address. Um, maybe I should post that on the, uh, just live public
03:06 for everybody to kind of watch and see the state of uh, total CMS and Weaver Space and Stacks and all that jazz, right? Um, [clears throat] speaking of
03:15 stacks, let's talk a little bit about that. So, um, developers got a pretty crispy beta, um, early yesterday and
03:25 things seem pretty pretty good. So, um, I got an inkling that potentially some re release notes are starting to be made. So, yeah, fingers crossed, uh, you
03:35 know, non-developers will start getting some, uh, some hotness, some new hotness, um, with partials and all that jazz. So, super excited about that.
03:44 [snorts] Also, um, for those that didn't attend the summit, um, I haven't worked on it much since the summit, but I have a new
03:53 Weaver Space STAXMCP that I'm working on, obviously built with total CMS 3.5, which is pretty
04:02 [snorts] crazy. Um, and uh, yeah, for those of you that were at the summit, you saw that I can like you can use I used Claude to like generate a very nice
04:12 and cool um, kind of little layout that I can then drag into stacks and um, it was a good proof of concept. Um, still
04:20 got a long ways to go on that, but I think um, the future is bright. Uh, I will start working on that a little bit more. Um, hopefully Isaiah is going to
04:29 add a little bit of magic for me as well that we're going to be able to make that even better. So, um, [clears throat] all right, without further ado, let's
04:38 jump on in. And, um, I did build a not a small, it's actually quite large. Um, I haven't done a live stream since
04:48 RC1. So, we're I just released RC10 um, this week. Okay. So, um, go check that out. I think I released on Monday.
04:58 And uh yeah, some really cool stuff going on. I'm going to today I'm gonna review kind of like the big stuff that's
05:07 happened since RC1 to RC10. Um nothing is big like automations and MCP which shipped in RC1. Um but there's a lot of
05:16 really good fixes. Um so if you are on the release candidates, make sure that you update to RC10. Um, there's been a lot of really good fixes, especially for
05:24 MCP. Um, so there's a lot of really good fixes for that. Okay. And, uh, let's go ahead and share my screen.
05:35 Okay. Um, sharing my screen. There we go. All
05:45 right. So, um, let's see. Here's my little notes here. I'll just move these to the other screen.
05:54 All right. Let me know in the chat if my audio kind of uh has any issues. My audio has been going kind of wonky as you remember lately and I just haven't
06:03 had the time to really debug it. So, um hopefully we'll be good today. Okay. [snorts] Um well, for the one person that sent me
06:14 this photos cuz they were having issues with gallery, uh guess what? It works now. So, um, yep, there we go. Um, all
06:22 right. RC, uh, let's see, the marquee features. Okay, so let's go over like the really big features that we have now, um, since
06:31 RC1. Okay. Um, oh, oops, I got a 8 megabytes, blah, blah, blah. Interesting. All right, that was
06:40 something I actually added this morning. Uh, and this is my local dev server, but uh, ignore that. There there are well one one thing in this is new in RCT10
06:49 there up here when you first log in there'll be kind of some like warnings uh that will be displayed up here before it was only just like licenses um but
06:59 there are some other things where I find like um it would be useful to display some warnings for you so that you really see them and up at the homepage it'll
07:07 display these warnings most of them are only visible to admins though so don't worry your users aren't going to see them they are visible to admins only. Okay. Um, but yeah, there just some
07:17 things that I feel I need to warn you about so that when something maybe doesn't work properly, you already knew
07:25 about it. Okay? Cuz no one's going to be going and checking log files all the time, right? So, um, yeah. Um, so that's one new feature. Okay. Um, the next one
07:37 is, let's see, uh, data visualizers. Now, this is pretty cool. Um, I think there's a there's a few different data visualizers we we created. Um, and
07:47 they're all in under this report under utilities under reporting. Okay. There is a new permissions matrix. The collection report is I think that's
07:58 older, but we'll we'll look at it too. I forget exactly when I added this. I think this was during the betas. [snorts] But permissions matrix. Let's go over
08:06 this. This is something new in RC10. And what this allows you to do, it gives you um the ability to see all of your access groups. Again, these are uh
08:16 access groups. So, if we look at access groups in in this particular server, I just have three access groups, admin, default, and editor. Okay? But I know
08:25 some of you have gone really far out and you have like 20 access groups. And so yeah, it was getting I think uh critical
08:33 for us to kind of see um what those groups have access to as a whole. Right? So this allows you to uh by default it
08:42 shows all access groups and it shows you what schemas uh what groups have access to, what collection metadata and all this. It shows I mean I'm on my dev
08:50 server that has a lot of data. So there's a lot these tables are huge, right? Yours might be smaller or maybe even bigger. Okay. But um yeah, just nice way to kind of see all of the
09:00 collections, which ones have access and which ones don't. Here um we have an example of what it will look like uh
09:08 when something doesn't have access. So for example, here to access the collection objects, the editor has no access, no access, no access, no access.
09:19 Here um it he has um read and update. So there's going to be uh there's kind of a standard technology term called CRUD and
09:30 is create, read, update, delete. If you look down here at the bottom, let me create my little There we go. Down here, if you look down here at the bottom,
09:38 okay, we have create, read, update, delete. So if we look here, we have um we don't have create, we have read, update, and not no delete. So this just
09:48 a way to kind of show you what that particular group has access to. So for blog and blog pro, the editor has the ability to read and update objects, but
09:59 they cannot create new posts or delete existing posts. Okay. Um, so yeah, there we go. Um, kind of a just again a
10:08 convenience, kind of a a nice way for you to maybe doublech check who has access to what. And up here, if you just want to, you know, if you have a lot of
10:17 groups and you want to really narrow it down to a single group, um, this will give you a nice view there, too. Okay. [snorts]
10:25 Um, next up is the We'll look at the collection report. I did I did do some bug fixes on the collection report um in I believe it was RCT10. Okay. And the
10:35 collection report is very similar to what a um CSV export does. However, um
10:44 the one big thing is deck items. So when you export a CSV file from the collection, um, decks get exported as
10:54 like a JSON blob inside of a cell. Okay. Um, but here with CSVs or I'm sorry with
11:03 the collection report, uh, we can go ahead and select a collection. And when I created this, I think it was okay here. So um in here uh if you select a
11:15 collection we'll notice that um there are multiple uh so a this is properties okay and inside properties um you can
11:23 select exactly what fields you want to be exported in the CSV and you can also use this little plus button. Now um this is actually another
11:33 new item. I won't dive into this rabbit hole but this is the new checklist. Um it used to be called multi-checkbox in RC10. and it was renamed to checklist
11:43 and um it's backwards compatible with what if you were using an old multi-checkbox it got auto upgraded to checklist and it's this new interface
11:51 where you can automatically check everything or you can select individual um items to export. Okay. Now if you
12:00 notice here the the properties is the properties of uh this particular schema. Okay. But there's also an items. And in
12:09 here, this is a deck. So, if you had multiple decks in here, what you can do is you can actually select which data from your deck you want exported. And
12:19 let's go ahead and and uh download this. I have no idea what this is going to look like, but um yeah, let's just have a look at that. And let's go ahead and
12:28 look at it. And we're going to All right. And if we look at this,
12:37 yes. So, um, can I make this bigger? Yes, I can. All right. So, if we look here, items, so when something is inside
12:45 of a deck, okay, instead of it just being like the items uh, cell, what it does is items.escription, items do ID. Okay. Now what you what you
12:56 should notice here is with this report um the first three rows of this report are actually the same
13:06 object. Okay. So um they're the same object and the data in these columns is repeated.
13:15 However um because that had three deck items that's why it has three individual rows.
13:24 Right? So, it gives us a way to have our deck items inside of a CSV style report.
13:32 Uh, and then you can you can probably you can actually do some really interesting stuff here with numbers or Excel where you can do like pivot tables based on the shared values and all kinds
13:40 of jazz, right? Um, but yeah, so in this uh particular collection, there's only two objects. Um, this first one, um, is
13:49 one object, but and there's three rows because there were three different deck items. And this one, Widget Industries,
13:57 um, I'm not trying to take you over, Matt. I promise. Okay. Um, Widget Industries here, has two line items um, in its deck. Okay. So, yeah, there we
14:08 go. There are two two objects, but five rows because of the number of deck items. So, uh, pretty interesting there. Um, so that is collection reports.
14:19 Let's go to the next two things are going to be pretty cool. I think you guys are going to like that. Yeah, the email just went out.
14:30 Um, collection visualizer. Now, this is pretty cool. Um, I think this shipped in RC9. Okay. And what this does is uh
14:42 let's go into hopefully full screen mode is going to work here. Let me see. Does that work? It does. Okay. So, um in here, this allows us to Whoops. Wow,
14:51 that's very sensitive. Um this allows us to visualize our collections and the relationships between them.
15:01 Okay, which is pretty slick. So if we look um at the so uh solid purple lines here are references. Um the
15:11 dotted the dashed are from decks and cards. The uh the there's inheritance. So if you inherit schemas. Okay. Um and
15:21 then data view discrepancies. So if there's data views um tied to it. So that's how all of those lines are. And let's go ahead and look at those again.
15:31 So here we'll see that blog pro inherits from uh different schemas.
15:40 Okay. And those inheritance uh are are shown here with those white lines. Okay. We then have a dependency to comments.
15:50 Um we here is a stats data view that is tied to this collection as well as reviews as well as products. Right? So,
16:00 as you see, this just a really nice way for you to visually see all your collections, all of their properties, and the relationships between them.
16:11 Okay, so yeah, I hope you enjoy this. It's pretty cool. Um, some people have already, uh, you know, helped them design and kind of visualize things, um,
16:21 and verify, uh, that the relationships that they have set up and the properties that they need are all there. So yeah, uh this is a readonly sort of thing. You
16:30 can't like move them around or change anything here, okay? It is just a a a way to visualize everything, but I think it's pretty cool. Now, if you wanted,
16:39 you can focus on a particular collection. So like if I wanted to go just to blog pro, um I can see just the one Blog Pro instance. So very useful if
16:49 you didn't want to like see that entire huge uh you know, global collection view. Um, so you can zero down into one particular collection and see exactly um
17:01 what is related to what. Pretty cool. Okay, next up is object visualizer.
17:13 And with this what this allows you to do is this gets allows you to get very granular. And I wish I remember what example I used to build this out, but
17:23 let's go ahead and uh let's just visualize. Uh uh let's let's pick one that's maybe not. So let's do invoice.
17:34 Where's the invoice collection? Invoices. All right. Um well, so the invoices there was only two invoices here, and I
17:43 guess there's no relationship between those objects. Um, uh, let's go ahead and How about
17:51 products? Oh, here's one that's a little bit more interesting. Okay, so here I have products and it shows all of my
18:00 products. Now, if you have a very large collection, it does limit the view to, I believe it's 50 or 100. I forget off the top of my head. Okay. So, if you
18:09 have 10,000 things, it's not going to build out a 10,000 view of every object. Okay. Um, but here we'll see that I have
18:18 all my products and then I can see uh PID 19 is related to this member and this this review is related to that
18:29 product. Right? So you can kind of see these again these are actual objects and how those objects are related to the products. So for example, this product
18:40 ID 13 here, okay, has three separate reviews for it and it's also associated
18:48 with this member. Okay, so for example, let's do PID um see 1 2 3 4 13. Okay, so let's go and if
18:58 I go and do um P-123 413, let's visualize that. You can then visualize a specific object as well. So
19:08 if you know what the object ID is and you want to look at that particular object, you can see exactly all the relationships between um these guys.
19:17 Pretty cool. Go in the chat. I'll try to keep an eye
19:25 on that. So if you have any questions uh as we go, let me know. Okay. Uh okay, that's all the visualizers.
19:34 Those are pretty cool. Um, uh, hope you like those. Next up is a really cool one and, uh, you guys can thank Matias for this because he had an issue where as an
19:45 admin he could, I think it was upload a file. I forget exactly what it was, but um, as an admin, it worked great, but when he logged in as his user account
19:55 um, for his customer, it wasn't working. And I was like, you know what? I don't want to keep creating an account and logging in as me testing and then
20:04 logging as the user and testing and then logging back to me is testing. Right? So I was like we need something better. Okay. So in order to help me de help me
20:13 debug this I created a new feature for us guys and I think you're going to love it. Okay. So um what I'm going to do is I'm going to go into the off oh actually
20:22 I don't have login currently enabled on this server. I have to enable login. One second go authentication. Let me enable authentication.
20:33 And that might log me out. Let's see. Did it. No, it didn't. Okay. So, now um if I go into off, right, and I go into
20:41 let's get I I go into Joe editor. Okay. If I go into the little action menu now, there is now a new action here for
20:51 impersonate user. So, I'm do is I'm going to click on impersonate user.
20:59 And now I am impersonating that user. You'll notice that my my dashboard has drastically changed. Uh I only see
21:07 certain uh sidebar items. I don't see everything. I don't see schemas. If I go into collections, I only see the collections that I'm supposed to be able
21:15 to see, right? Um so yeah, pretty awesome. So, this gives you full ability to uh impersonate that user and test
21:25 things out as if you were them without having to know everything. Now, obviously, this impersonate user is only ever available to admins.
21:34 And um it's really easy to exit impersonate user. You'll notice this little toolbar down at the bottom says I'm impersonating the editor. And if I want to return to my account, I just
21:43 click on this button. And that then takes me back to my main admin account.
21:51 So, user impersonations, very cool. Um, this actually also spurred the whole permissions matrix thing as well that we saw earlier. Okay.
22:03 [clears throat] Okay. Next up is um if you've attended some hangouts, you probably know that um there is a a trend
22:15 going with people that are really using and building sites with Total CMS to have a collection that only ever has one
22:24 object. The the collection is intended to never have more than one object. And hopefully I still have this. Let me
22:35 search website. Ah, I don't have it. Oh, here. Site settings. Oh, I created one called site settings. Okay. And what
22:45 you'll notice when I click site settings here, notice that normally when I when I click on a collection, I get the list of
22:54 collections. But here when I click on site settings, I don't get a list. I get an object.
23:05 So this is an interesting concept where um this collection will only ever have one object
23:13 and one caveat is the ID of the object should be the ID of the collection. They should match.
23:22 Okay. Now the way we set this up is when we edit our collection there is a new checkbox here called single object collection.
23:33 Okay. Now, if you already have an existing collection that has multiple objects and you select this and you save, it's going to it's going to give
23:41 you some warnings saying, "Hey, uh this is set to be a single object collection, but you have many objects." Okay. Now, if you do only have one object and you
23:51 save this, it should automatically rename that object to the proper collection ID. Okay. Um so there we go.
24:02 Uh again, checking this box, what it does is it gives you um the ability to when you click on the sidebar, it will load the specific one object and that's
24:13 it. And that's useful for things like site settings. So I have, you know, a uh I think uh Chris uses something called
24:21 website. He calls his website, which is great. Um and yeah, essentially now his is this is a very simple example
24:29 compared to what Chris had done. Um, but it allows you to have your website name, maybe some a tagline, your site logo, a
24:37 copyright, um, you know, maybe some SEO things or, you know, um, privacy policies or something like that, maybe. Right? So, at that point, this is going
24:47 to just be the settings for your website. Maybe you have multiple colors in here, right? To kind of have your color palette. So, this is going to be a place where it is only ever going to
24:57 have this one object. you don't need more than one site settings object. So hopefully that makes sense. Um and that's a nice little convenience factor
25:06 um for here. So when you click on this, it only loads the one object.
25:24 Okay, I'm looking at the rest of my list here. Um, I think I think I've talked about like the the really big main features that I've added. Um, well, oh,
25:35 actually, I forgot one. I just noticed I forgot one here. This one, you're going to like this one, guys. This one's really cool. Okay. [snorts]
25:43 Um, actually, we're going to talk about a couple things because I don't think or I think this one is actually something new as well. Let me look at my notes here.
25:56 Well, I think this one I think I forgot about this one. I think this happened after RC1. Uh I could be wrong though. Okay. But if we go into
26:06 um a object here, you'll notice that we have a deck and inside the deck you can now
26:15 have images and files. So um that is something new uh that before obviously you couldn't. Um now you can have images
26:24 and files. You cannot have depots or galleries, though. Um, I'd say the amount of work that I've done um to get images and files working, I can
26:33 guarantee you I will never add a gallery or a depot um into a deck. Okay, but I agree that it's really nice to be able to have images in a file. Okay, so I'm
26:43 I'm happy that we did that. Um, and we've fixed a lot of issues. So, thank you. I know there are a lot of people here that have helped test that um and
26:51 have really uh you know, pushed the limits. Um, so I appreciate that. Thank you for all your testing. Um, and yeah, it's working pretty well now.
27:03 Um, now another one which is uh I did a setup. I think it was in here
27:12 maybe. No, trying to remember where I I think it was in here. [snorts]
27:21 Ah, yeah. Okay. So in this demo here um I already talked about the new this is the new uh checklist setting okay where
27:30 you can select all or you can select um you know multiple individual items. So,
27:38 there's something else new on this particular form, okay, that you might not notice. It might, it's kind of a subtle thing on this form. Um, I think
27:47 it makes a big impact, okay? And that's what we'll notice is that this checkbox and this radio, they're encapsulated within
27:57 a field set, right? So, it's it's all contain all within a container. We have the title,
28:05 the checklist, and a radio, and they're all inside of a container. So, how do we do that? That's something completely new. And let's go ahead and edit this
28:14 collection. Um, actually, I'm going to go ahead and let's open that in a new tab.
28:30 All right. So, over here I have my collection Uh, oh wait, we we need the schema, not the collection. Let's go edit the schema.
28:39 Okay, so here I have the schema and here I have my form. And what you'll notice here is uh there's a couple new things in here. We
28:49 have square brackets to start my container and square brackets to end my container.
28:57 And anything that you add within it gets added within that particular container. So, if I wanted to if I didn't want to have these items in my U container,
29:08 let's go ahead and save that and let's refresh over here.
29:17 You'll notice now only the checklist is inside of the container. Okay, it's pretty cool. That's nice. Now
29:26 there's another option that we can do is uh you can add labels to your containers as well. So um after the opening square
29:36 brackets what you can do is you can add a label. So anything that you add after the
29:46 square brackets okay gets added as the label. So let's go ahead and save that. >> [snorts]
29:58 >> Oops. Fresh over here. So now I have a label on my container. Uh and then again you can have as many items as you want
30:07 inside of here. And you can actually do uh you know multiple um things. So if you did uh
30:16 I'm kind of limited. If I did here radio, right? So you you can do multiple columns here.
30:25 Oops. [snorts] This is probably going to look horrible, but let's save it. Uh, basically now I've made checklist and radio two
30:34 columns, so they're going to be uh, and these are two big fields, so it's probably not the best from a uh, yeah, there we go. So now I have a checklist and a radio. They're both columns.
30:42 Obviously, there's not enough space to kind of do that grid, but and you know, this doesn't make sense for I wouldn't recommend you do this particular layout,
30:51 but uh yeah, it works. You can have multiple columns. Um and yeah, so let's go ahead and fix that. Let's put it back the way it was.
31:05 [snorts] All right. Now, I'm going to add radio back inside this box.
31:13 And if you remember uh the way that we can add dividers with a header um is was like this.
31:24 It was three dashes and then my header and then three dashes. Right? Let's go ahead and save that.
31:34 And you'll see that I have the checklist, a header, and then my radio field. Now this syntax even I all the time
31:43 forgot that I had to add in three dashes at the end all the time. Right? So over here I was like oh yeah I forget I had
31:51 to add three dashes at the end. So I just made them optional. If you have them cool if not it's just three dashes and then um your header
32:07 and it looks the same. Okay. because it it is the same. It's just it's now an optional thing. You don't need the three dashes. And I've removed the three
32:15 dashes from the documentation because this is just simpler. So, it's just three dashes and then your text. And that will add a header.
32:25 So, I'm really interested to see how you guys how you guys use the field sets um to kind of improve things. Um I think it's going to be really cool.
32:37 >> [snorts] >> Okay, let's see what is next here.
32:46 Oh, another one. Uh, interesting one here. Uh, let's see. I don't need both these tabs open anymore. All right. So, um I know some of you
32:56 have um admins that are maybe potentially multilingual and so you know some people are maybe
33:04 speak German and some people speak English. And so now um inside of the profile,
33:13 okay, there is now a preferred language field for users and you can set your preferred language. So, if I were to set
33:22 Spanish. Oops. Where is How are these? Are these not sorted? Oh, it's espanol.
33:34 So, if I were to set my preferred language to be espanol, I could save that. Okay. And now, if I go to uh my
33:44 dashboard, you'll notice that now the dashboard language has been set to Spanish. Okay. So now at the user level um some
33:55 users can set their preferred language that might be different from the default language of your admin dashboard. Okay, pretty cool. And um I don't speak
34:05 Espanol, so we're going to go ahead and change that back. Oh, I'm going to go ahead and just clear it. [snorts]
34:17 Okay, now we're back to English. Okay. Oh, yeah. And oh, a fun one. Okay. Another uh another fun one here
34:29 is one second. Oh. Um for browser
34:38 nicities. Okay. Uh I I should have left that as Spanish. Um I'm going to go ahead and and change my language back to Spanish so we can see [snorts]
34:47 All
35:01 right. So now um what we'll notice here is the language of the actual document now now properly maps to the language um
35:13 that you've set either the default language or the user's priority language right so before the language on in the actual code was always set to English um
35:23 but now it follows whether or not your what the actual language of that you've defined inside the settings okay so it'll will actually set that and that's
35:33 good for uh browsers and um you know various tools that the browser uses. When you set properly set the language you know it'll make things nicer okay
35:44 for accessibility and for various other tools that the browser needs the browser knowing the main language of the page is going to be very beneficial.
35:55 Okay. Uh let me go ahead and change that back to default. All >> [snorts] >> right. Next up is
36:07 I think I've added this to invoices.
36:15 Uh oh, wait. I was playing around with the schema. Let me put it back really quick. Uh did I update products? Maybe updated products.
36:24 Ah, I did. Okay. So, there was a pri there was a price field. Um, however, the price field got a very nice update.
36:33 Okay, update. And what it does now, uh, based on the price settings, okay, it dynamically formats the price to be what
36:44 you would expect it to be. So in here in euros, it is 99, 99, which is what they would expect.
36:52 So, um, and as I type, you'll notice that it is now, um, dynamically,
37:01 um, adding the proper punctuation. So, it's localized to the language that I've defined for this price field.
37:12 And it dynamically does it on the fly. So, you can really visually see the number. prior um it didn't have the proper you know commas and periods and
37:21 whatnot um in the number. So sometimes it was hard to see large numbers and uh to see if they were typed properly.
37:29 Okay. And now this really makes it easier to read. Okay. It's pretty cool. New price field
37:38 or updated price field I should say. [snorts]
37:49 um inside data views. I'd say um some of you have used data views. Um oops, wrong one. This one have
37:59 really used data views to the to way more than I ever expected it to. Okay. Um now if you've looked at data views at
38:08 all you know that uh since they were shipped that you can have uh dependencies of collections but you guys have gone even farther and
38:17 actually created views based on other views right which is pretty crazy. So um and definitely possible right? So now you
38:26 can not only define the dependencies of collections but also uh dependencies of other views and this is important for when the data
38:35 gets recompiled um it can know that it needs to prioritize what views to compile first so that the dependent views um will have
38:45 the most up-to-date information. So um really good. This is actually a really difficult uh kind of tricky thing to add. Um but yeah, we can now have uh
38:55 views based dependent on not only collections but other views which is really cool.
39:07 Added a bunch of various things to the extensions over the past month or so. Um I'm not going to dive into those right now. Um, uh, if you're developing
39:16 extensions, uh, you probably already know and I've updated the GitHub repos with examples and and the docs and all that jazz. Okay, so um, there we go.
39:38 Okay, that does it for I mean there's a ton of other mini little uh bug fixes and and things like that, but those are all the big features that I've added um
39:47 to T total CMS 3.5 since um our last live stream, since RC1. So again, nothing um no really huge features, just
39:56 some really nice uh kind of uh you know, enhanced ones that will enhance our workflows and make things a little bit better. So um time release timeline, I
40:07 think 3.5 is solid. Um I'm happy to call it release ready. Um today I just actually just found did find some
40:15 gallery issues or uh you know Matias and Josh found some gallery issues and I think I fixed them all. Um, and so RC11 will probably come by the end of the
40:23 week. Um, now why haven't I released this yet? Um, I pretty much want to make sure that
40:33 what I basically I want to have the website done as well. Okay, so um this is a really really big release. Um, it's kind of like a 4.0 release. It is really
40:42 really big. Okay, this 3.5 release and so I really needed to get things like the websites uh needs to be done. The
40:51 website for totalcmss.co is still talking about stacks and um version one and rapid and and you know it requires stacks. Now total cmss3 is
41:00 kind of standalone. It still uses stacks. So I need to incorporate all of that those new and all the [clears throat] new functionality into the homepage. Also I need to make it
41:08 look a lot nicer because the current website definitely looks a little dated. It's not ugly, but um definitely is dated. So, uh we need to update that. It'll obviously all be ran by total CMS
41:18 3. Um and then I I do want to get some kind of more short form videos out because yeah, I do a lot of my videos
41:26 are total CMS. Just like when I first started Foundation 6, a lot of the videos were these long long range, you know, uh very uh lengthy time investment
41:37 uh videos. And so, I want to make sure I get some more targeted ones. And now that I think this release kind of really refineses the UI and makes made some
41:47 pretty big changes, I really think it's time to start doing those short form videos as well. And they'll those will go up on the Total CMS's new dedicated
41:56 YouTube channel. Um so that you know we have a a dedicated channel for uh Total CMS from the Weaver Space Stacks. Okay.
42:05 Um, so there'll be a lot a lot of cross-pollination there, but a lot of the videos will be going up on the new Total CMS channel on YouTube. Okay, so
42:14 um there we go guys. I ended a little bit early today. Um, win on me. Um, I don't see many questions in the chat. So
42:23 hopefully you guys are just blown away. You love all the new features. Let me know. Um, post on the community what you've been building. Um, yeah. Actually, here, let's uh while while
42:33 we're uh talking, let's share some uh some goodies that some people have been sharing lately. Um couple of things. Um
42:42 Martin uh released a blood pressure website uh which is kind of cool. Um so yeah, thanks for sharing this one, Martin, if you're here. Um it's
42:51 basically how to monitor your your own blood pressure and take care of it instead of being uh you know, without medication. I'm all for that. I think that makes sense. If you can handle
43:00 things on your own and not have to take some meds, um I'm all for that as well. So, um my wife actually I sent this to her and uh she's reviewing it and uh I
43:10 haven't gotten feedback from her yet, but uh yeah, I'm sure it's it's great, Martin. So, thank you for sharing this uh website resource. It's going to be great. And the domain you snapped is pretty good. bloodpressure.co.uk.
43:20 Pretty cool. Good job. [snorts] Okay, next up is actually a really smart one um from Matias. Um I am not sure
43:29 what the website is for, I'll be honest. Um but I love the background. I think the background of this site is is just killer. I love the the frosted glass.
43:39 I'm pretty sure you're using the glass stack there um for that. And um yeah, the glass stack on this menu. I'm sure that's glass. Um and yeah, really nice.
43:49 I believe this is a total CMS3 site as well. Um, so yeah, good job on this one, Matias. Um, check it out. Give them some, uh, give them some love on the
43:57 community and tell them that you, uh, you love it, too. Okay, so, um, sweet. Thank you very much, guys. Uh, I think we're going to call it quits. Total CMS
44:06 channel. Oh, joy. Oh, [laughter] yes. Mary, uh, how you doing? Are you back in the States? I think you're back in the States now. But, uh, sweet. Um,
44:14 yeah, if you're I know, Mari, you're I think you're pretty new to Total CMS, so uh, I didn't really go over any newbie stuff. Okay. Um, but there are um there
44:23 are some if you go to the Weaverspace channel uh there is a uh total CMS for beginners. Uh I did it I think it was
44:32 six to eight months ago. Um but obviously a lot of those beginners tactics are still very relevant. Um so they're all uh that that video was
44:41 definitely somewhere something that I would start at for that if you want to if you're completely new to total CMS3 and you want to learn the concepts of it. I think that video is a is a good
44:50 one. Um, so total CMS 3 for beginners um is what it's called on the Weaver Space channel. But yes, there will be a new Total CMS channel that will be dedicated
44:59 to that so that uh yeah, we don't kind of muddy the waters and it's maybe a nice little separation so people can find things better. Okay? Because the
45:07 Weaver Space channel is ginormous, right? There's o over a thousand videos on there. So, uh yeah. Um I think that's going to be a good thing. So, thank you
45:16 very much everybody. Um, take care. Hopefully see you guys on Friday. USA plays. They're actually in the Bay Area.
45:24 I'm not going to be able to go to the game, but we're going to San Francisco, uh, a watch party at Pier 39 to watch it. So, I'm super stoked with that. We're going to be leaving in just a
45:32 couple hours. So, um, have a great rest of your week. Go out there.
