00:08 hi this is Rob from Joe Rickman stacks
00:11 today I'm going to show you how to add
00:13 custom fonts to the letterpress stack so
00:16 once you had a letterpress stack to your
00:18 page then you want to go to the google
00:21 fonts website which is www.hyken.com
00:41 gonna choose this one here it's called
00:44 kaboom ka vo om now to get this to work
00:48 on your site it's very simple first
00:51 thing you need to do is click on this
00:52 little icon here it says quick use so
00:55 you click on that it'll bring it to the
00:58 the setup here and depending on the font
01:00 you choose you can have different
01:02 options to choose from obviously this
01:04 one only has a normal 400 but other
01:06 fonts might have different options bold
01:08 and so on you can choose lanten extended
01:12 or just plain Latin I'm just going to
01:14 keep the basic that way if there okay
01:16 and then all you need then is this code
01:19 under the standard tab here you don't
01:22 have to go past up three see it
01:24 highlight this code and copy it okay and
01:29 then you're done with this google fonts
01:31 page you can go back to your rabbi
01:32 Weaver's deck now what you want to do
01:34 next is bring up your page inspector and
01:38 you want to go to the header tab now
01:41 you'll already see that I have this
01:44 already pasted into my header area so
01:48 you click on the header tab this other
01:50 little header tab and paste your code
01:52 right there okay close up the page
01:55 inspector then make sure you're on the
01:58 letterpress stack so you can adjust the
01:59 settings then you want to go to this
02:01 style one here that's called theme font
02:04 and you want to go all the way down and
02:06 click on custom definition when you do
02:09 that then you want to put the custom
02:11 font name in I already have that
02:13 there it's called Cahoon you type it in
02:16 I would suggest you keep it lowercase I
02:18 haven't tried it with uppercase but just
02:20 keep it lowercase to keep it a standard
02:22 look and then once you're done with that
02:25 it doesn't change it in the edit area
02:27 but if you go to the preview you will
02:31 notice it comes up with that custom font
02:34 that's the C'thun pot so it's a very
02:37 simple way to add really cool-looking
02:39 fonts to your websites that really don't
02:42 add a lot of time for the person having
02:44 to download because it gets it right
02:45 from Google I hope you enjoyed this
02:47 video and go forth and make your
02:50 websites great thanks
