00:12 today I'm going to show you how to use
00:14 the expose stack and the sweet button
00:17 stacks to make a terms and conditions
00:20 agreement pop up on your website so if
00:24 you've been wanting to have the ability
00:27 to let people read the agreements before
00:29 they access your website Joe has made a
00:32 great update to the expose and suite
00:34 button stacks to make this very easy to
00:36 do so first thing you want to do is you
00:38 drop your expose stack in you leave the
00:42 launcher area empty you don't want to
00:44 put anything in there then you'll drop
00:47 in some text that you'll use for your
00:50 terms and conditions Joe also add in a
00:52 header here with the words terms and
00:54 conditions but it's up to you how you
00:55 set it up and then we put it in a two
00:57 column stack the agree and decline or
01:00 accept and disagree or agree and
01:02 disagree whatever way you want to name
01:04 the buttons we put them into two columns
01:06 that just so it looks better but you can
01:08 set it up any way you want a three
01:09 column stack you know on top of each
01:11 other however you think it looks good
01:13 okay now the first thing you want to do
01:15 is you'll click on the expose stack okay
01:18 and the only thing you really need to
01:19 worry about changing and the expose
01:21 stack is just a couple of things the
01:23 first one is to make sure in the expose
01:27 overlay area that you uncheck click to
01:30 close okay this way they will not be
01:32 able to close your lightbox once it's
01:37 open okay by clicking outside of the
01:40 lightbox so make sure that's unchecked
01:42 you also might want to make your opacity
01:43 like a hundred percent or make your
01:46 overlay color a little bit darker so
01:47 they can't see the text or images that
01:50 are behind your agreement then the next
01:53 thing you want to do is go down to the
01:57 expose IDE area and you'll want to set
02:01 an ID okay now here it said the idea is
02:03 used to launch expose but we're also
02:05 gonna use it for a different reason and
02:07 I'll show you that in the sweet button
02:09 settings okay the rest of the
02:13 oh and make sure it also let you uh set
02:15 it open on page load and the delay
02:18 default is 5 seconds make sure you put
02:21 that down to zero or else people will be
02:23 able to see you know even at 1 second
02:25 they'll be able to see what your site
02:27 has so make sure you put the delay on
02:29 zero and make sure you also have checked
02:31 in the behavior open on page load ok
02:35 once you have all those three settings
02:37 set you can then go ahead and go to the
02:40 suite button settings okay let's do the
02:42 decline setting first decline button now
02:44 you want that to go to probably a
02:46 specific page saying you know we want to
02:50 be able to go to website saying you know
02:54 thanks for checking on our site but
02:56 since you do not agree with our terms
02:58 and conditions you cannot see your
02:59 website or something like that Joe just
03:01 has it set to and I'll show you let's
03:04 see you open the link going just to a
03:07 sandbox site okay but you can put
03:11 whatever link or page you want to put in
03:13 there now we're gonna go to the agree
03:16 button this is a little bit more to
03:18 setup first thing you want to do is
03:20 click on your set link button now you
03:21 want to keep it the JavaScript void in
03:23 the URL section but you will want to add
03:26 a class and you do that by clicking on
03:29 the plus button and we'll ask you to
03:31 name your class and give it a value okay
03:34 and let's leave this one but you'll want
03:36 to name it class and the value of close
03:39 okay you can keep title in there you
03:42 don't have to worry about that once you
03:44 have your link set up like this you
03:46 click on set link and then again you can
03:49 skip a lot of this you want to go down
03:52 all the way well you'll of course want
03:54 to change the icon and label and the
03:56 color if you want but then you want to
03:58 go to the clicked state now this is off
04:00 by default you want to click on that Joe
04:03 believes that you should set it up even
04:05 though nobody will ever see what the
04:07 click state looks like you should set it
04:09 up just in case to look like the normal
04:12 state okay so here we got that all set
04:14 up then you want to make sure the
04:16 persist click state is checked up then
04:20 we'll pop a cookies expire this is when
04:23 your cookie will expire
04:25 you can change this to whatever you want
04:27 but Joe suggests the number of days of a
04:30 year 365 days but again you can change
04:32 this whenever whatever you want okay now
04:35 one thing we need to do is now we're
04:38 gonna use that expose ID and we set that
04:41 expose date ideas term here's where we
04:45 use that expose ID okay so we type in
04:48 the word expose underscore and then the
04:51 ID just like it is down here in the
04:53 class but you want to use it here in the
04:55 cookie name once you have that you're
04:59 ready to go okay so then you can preview
05:04 the page and up should pop your website
05:09 with the terms and conditions you can
05:12 agree to decline now I suggest that you
05:14 actually if you're just previewing your
05:16 pages just go back into edit mode if you
05:18 click agree you're gonna have to try to
05:20 find your cookies for your for
05:23 rapidweaver which can be hard to find
05:24 and delete the cookies for rapidweaver
05:27 because it will save cookies for at the
05:29 weavers preview so I suggest you just go
05:31 out of edit okay
05:35 this page that we have set up here comes
05:39 on the expose disk image so if you need
05:43 to get this page to look at you can go
05:48 right ahead and do that I've also set up
05:49 a FAQ on our Doc's page and there'll be
05:52 a link in that FAQ on showing you how to
05:54 or where to go to get to redownload your
05:58 stack it's very simple to do you just
06:00 need to go to a certain spot in cart
06:02 loom type in your email address that you
06:04 bought the stack with and you'll be able
06:06 to read down redownload it without an
06:08 issue so that's the new setup we have
06:12 for the expose stack and the sweet
06:13 button stacks we hope you like this
