00:18 called rebar as you can see this
00:21 home page is somewhat similar to the the
00:24 case on file
00:26 home page in that it has this you know
00:28 banner up here
00:31 uh it has the area for like mission
00:33 statement
00:34 and or an about me the mid-page banner
00:37 some another section here for you to put
00:40 some content
00:41 the footer uh it comes with the
00:44 home page a contact page the blog page
00:48 payment privacy policy the new credits
00:52 page which is
00:53 uh newest the newest feature in the case
00:56 on file
00:57 i decided to put that in here as well
00:59 because i think
01:01 you know giving credit where credit's
01:02 due is an incredibly important
01:04 thing especially in web design
01:08 and also it comes with a thank you page
01:10 thank you page isn't shown just because
01:12 it's you know it comes up once you
01:14 submit a form uh
01:16 in the messaging uh feature like up here
01:19 or you know if you have it set up when
01:21 someone makes a payment through whatever
01:23 payment stack you use it can take them
01:25 there
01:27 so the the thing that is
01:30 different from caisson that makes it
01:32 kind of special
01:34 is that you have the ability to make you
01:37 know
01:38 ad hoc pages without having to go
01:41 through
01:41 rapidweaver so
01:45 if i go over to the admin portal so this
01:47 is the admin portal for the
01:49 the rebar project file it's you know
01:53 a bit different from the other portals
01:56 uh let's see over here you know we have
01:58 your pages
01:59 you have home blog then you have blog
02:02 posts
02:03 and then you have the add a blog post
02:05 contact credits
02:06 credit list so you list all the credits
02:09 you get your you give your giving
02:12 uh you can add a credit make a payment
02:14 privacy policy
02:15 and then updates so the new one is user
02:17 pages
02:19 so what is a user page
02:23 actually let me just show you so i have
02:26 already created a couple of pages
02:29 that i can use as an example and they're
02:31 just you know generic
02:33 basic not really well thought out pages
02:36 if i'm if i'm being completely honest
02:39 but i have one called discovery and one
02:42 called camping
02:43 okay and you can see over here some of
02:46 the information about each page
02:48 the components which is title um banner
02:51 divider
02:52 sidebar you have layout two columns
02:55 sidebar
02:55 r which stands for right and then site
02:58 with
02:58 and then title left okay so
03:02 what does all of that mean let me let me
03:04 show you okay
03:05 so i'm gonna go into camping
03:09 and right now it's set to draft okay so
03:12 i'm gonna turn draft off
03:14 and then save it and i'll come back to
03:17 my home page and reload
03:20 okay so now up here next to the home
03:23 button i have
03:24 camping you know this is leveraging the
03:26 total cms
03:28 blog list menu item
03:31 in the foundation 6 menu
03:34 stacks okay so if i click on camping
03:38 it takes me to the camping page and
03:40 you'll see that i have this
03:42 this page which it the is being pulled
03:47 from this main image so
03:50 layout two columns sidebar are
03:54 right uh site width if i click on this i
03:57 have
03:57 six different options if i do
04:01 column site width save that
04:04 see how this is laid out here with
04:07 sidebar on the right if i
04:08 refresh now the sidebar is going to be
04:11 on the top
04:13 i'm using just generic buttons to show
04:15 that you can actually put a button in
04:17 here using
04:18 uh html and i'll show you actually
04:21 the easy way that well the easy way that
04:24 i found
04:26 to you know allow for you or your
04:28 clients to do that
04:30 without having to call you and
04:31 constantly asking you
04:33 um so but you anyway you see that you
04:35 know i have now it's a one column
04:37 page that's site width if i were to make
04:41 this
04:41 a one column full width
04:48 oops i refreshed the wrong thing

04:58 and so see how camping is up here

05:10 okay so what if i want
05:13 i don't want the title in the banner
05:15 what if i want the title down here
05:17 you know above the content so i can come

05:21 and if i go into extras on this tab i
05:24 have a little component bank of
05:26 components that i've already put in
05:27 there and i want to say
05:30 i want to get rid of title in the banner
05:34 okay but i want to put
05:37 the title in here and i want it to be
05:41 site width
05:42 so i'm just going to highlight that copy
05:44 it and paste it
05:46 okay and save so now when i refresh
05:51 now the banner doesn't have a title but
05:53 it's down here well okay well
05:55 chris i want the you know the title to
05:58 be in the middle
05:59 it looks goofy over there on the on the
06:01 left say okay
06:03 well we can go to the main content and
06:06 actually i'm sorry um up here where it
06:09 says title
06:10 and say title middle say save
06:14 come back refresh now the title's in the
06:17 middle
06:17 yay all right so

06:35 so let me talk about the
06:39 snippets real quick not everybody's a
06:41 you know a coder and that's that's cool
06:44 so code over here
06:47 i have code snippets see how this this
06:51 is actually a extra content to
06:54 stack in the total cms blog
06:57 stacks and i am leveraging this
07:01 it is um being injected into an html
07:05 stack and a foundation six html stack
07:08 and it's my styles so
07:11 you know if let's say that i wanted to
07:14 figure out how to do this let's say that
07:15 i didn't have any of this here
07:17 none of this text is here right so i can
07:20 click on code snippet and i have a
07:22 a light box that pops up and i can say
07:25 okay
07:25 button styles i'm just going to copy
07:27 that and then i'll just close this guy

07:32 and paste it in here right and then i've
07:34 given you
07:35 also snippets for you know adding a
07:38 custom button
07:39 so this would be like you know i want
07:42 the background of the button to be a
07:43 certain color
07:45 and then you know you can you can do it
07:47 however you want but
07:48 you know this is the the foundation of
07:52 you know how to style those buttons and
07:55 then to add a button
07:56 you know into your actual like sidebar
07:59 or something like i have
08:01 i would just copy this and i would come
08:04 over to
08:04 sidebar content and there's this
08:08 button up here in the hip wig editor
08:10 called code view
08:12 you just click on it for some reason you
08:14 have to click it twice
08:16 and then you just come in here and let's
08:18 say that
08:19 you know i'm going to paste my button in
08:21 here and i want this one to be button
08:22 one
08:23 because i already have a um
08:27 a button in here that is just the plain
08:30 button
08:31 and i'm going to have it go to you know
08:34 the weaverbasesite.com
08:37 site and say let's see
08:40 i'll just say wbs you know weaver based

08:48 refresh and now i have my weaver base

08:53 that will take me to that web page okay
08:57 very simple and these buttons can be
08:59 added you know oops
09:00 click the buy accent these buttons can
09:01 be added to the main content area
09:03 which i've you know organized it like
09:05 this and again the nice thing about
09:07 hipwig is
09:08 you know you can have um
09:12 text in here that wraps around images
09:15 or it can be inline text you can put in
09:18 videos like you see here this is just
09:20 the youtube video that i've
09:21 embedded i mean it's it's really a kind
09:24 of a cool way for you to
09:26 be able to create your own pages
09:30 on the fly and have them turn out i mean
09:33 this isn't the
09:33 the best style of page but you know
09:36 it's not terrible for a quick ad hoc
09:40 page
09:41 um and see and then like
09:44 extra oh so these are the extras oh the
09:46 image gallery so
09:47 if i wanted to have instead the image
09:50 gallery the slideshow of these i can
09:52 just do this
09:53 save come up here refresh
09:56 and now i have the image gallery of
09:58 those two images
10:01 which is pretty nice
10:06 seems like it's messing up a bit i don't
10:08 know what's going on there but we'll
10:09 move on
10:11 or i can just turn it off save done
10:16 and then seo yes these are all seo uh
10:21 you know these are all built with seo in
10:23 mind so if i have you know my page

10:26 or you know just you know do that and
10:28 then the share card url
10:32 you know i can save this and then
10:35 if i come up here and refresh the page
10:38 and we'll do a little inspector view
10:43 and we come up here so here's my
10:45 description of my gibberish that i typed
10:48 the website title is
10:52 camping and then that
10:55 that image url will be you know
10:58 where it needs to go so it is hooked up
11:02 to
11:04 uh seo helper and is pretty awesome
11:07 actually
11:08 so there we go
11:12 and i'm gonna click on discovery and
11:14 i'll turn it off
11:16 save it come back
11:19 refresh and now discovery shows up there
11:23 and these are sorted by the date by
11:25 using the date picker
11:26 so if i click on discovery i have my
11:29 image it's kind of hard to see it's a
11:31 little dark
11:32 but you know here's my one column that i
11:36 have set up with my
11:38 little gallery down here
11:43 so yeah so uh and i'll just go over the
11:45 credits real quick just because
11:47 again i think it's a pretty awesome
11:50 thing to have
11:52 here's my credits list so you know
11:55 i use on splash and stock unlimited
11:58 and so here's you know a picture of some
12:01 pizza that i found
12:02 and the uh the photographer
12:05 and when i you know when you click on it
12:07 go to edit
12:10 you're able to put the the link in there
12:12 and you'll put a category you know
12:14 i i use this in a blog as an example
12:17 image so i put down here blog
12:20 and let's see what it looks like on the
12:22 actual page so if i click on credits
12:26 the credits will load here
12:30 and just show all the the different
12:32 images that you've used and also
12:33 it shows up down here in the footer and
12:35 you can turn that on and off you can
12:37 either have it show in the menu bar up
12:39 here
12:40 or down here or not at all but
12:43 it's uh it's your choice and it can be
12:45 named whatever you want it doesn't have
12:46 to say
12:47 credits it can say you know attribution
12:49 or whatever you want to say
12:52 so anyway i uh hope you all like this
